Great quality rose arch!

My arch was initially delayed and I was a bit concerned about not being able to find out delivery information. However, this was taken up by their team who were apologetic about this and went out of their way to rectify the situation. The product is substantial and really well made and now has roses about to bloom around it!

Ok service

Delivery was delayed without communication as to why or when the obelisk would be delivered. Chat functions weren't working and there was no response to the online form.
Eventually got a call back following an email informing delayed production of obelisk due to factory issues and was given a rough timescale for delivery.
Obelisk quality not great. Welding of rings leaves much to be desired. Will not be ordering from the company again.

Update: Frankton's has send a replacement obelisk free of charge.

We are sorry that your experience did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, there was an unexpected delay within the factory’s paint finishing department during production of your made-to-order obelisk, which impacted lead times beyond our usual 5–7 working day timeframe. Our MD did contact you directly once we became aware of the delay to explain the situation and provide an updated timescale.

We also apologise that you experienced difficulties reaching us via the website chat/contact functions at the time.

In relation to the product quality, Poppy Forge products are handcrafted in the UK and some welded areas can show slight variations as part of the manufacturing process. However, we are disappointed to hear you were unhappy with the finish received.

We do appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve both our communication and service going forward.

I’m trying to chase an order I made two…

I’m trying to chase an order I made two weeks ago but the customer contact number doesn’t work and their email response is auto-generated. Their online chat function doesn’t work either. I ordered a rose arch which was a wedding gift from my Mum. I’m very concerned at this point that I have been ripped off for £260 and this maybe a bogus company.

I placed this order almost 2 weeks ago and still have not received any confirmation for a delivery date. Ive tried email, calling and leaving messages to avail. How hard is it to reply to an email. If you can't be bothered to let me know just give me my money back. This is my mother's main Christmas present and at this rate she's getting Sweet F A. By far the worst company ive had to deal with this Christmas, I warn you to not order online with this company.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service , as I could not be in to receive delivery they ensured my obelisk was delivered to my safe place. Also the quality of the item and speed of delivery was top rate.

A brilliant product!

Th whole process of ordering, delivery & customer service was great. The product is very strong & the spikes to put in the ground were exceptional . A brilliant product.

Scam website

Ordered and paid for a hot bin and had the confirmation email but nothing for two weeks. Franktons don’t return emails and their message service is full. I think this is a scam website

All round great experience

Bought a steel garden arch. Not like the ones you get at a garden centre that are basically made from the cheapest, thinnest sheet metal they think they can get away with, which are really expensive as well.

This one is made from proper, solid steel flat bar and properly welded and made at a proper forge.

I went for the unpainted finish that will soon have a lovely rusty hue to it.

Looks really good. Well made. Weighty. Very reasonably priced. Speedy free delivery.
Will definitely be using this company again and have already recommended to friends.
