I had a billing issue and the representative was able to log in my account and manually fix it and even made sure I wouldn’t be charged twice for same order. Promptly called back and was very professional,understanding and polite.

Food is great, still need to iron out kinks

Update: almost 4 weeks later and I never got that customer service email they said to look out for in the response. Each week since has had at least one mistaken meal.

The food really is delicious, convenient, and easy to prepare. However, I often get the wrong meals, never get a packing list to show that the meals I selected were checked against what was packaged, and never get notified of substitutions being made. As someone who tracks and logs their meals, I considered leaving this company after repeated issues with this, but the food keeps me coming back. Customer service is also very nice and quick to rectify a situation to the best of their ability, but it gets time consuming having to stop and call them frequently.

The packaging also does not list calories prominently, you have to turn it around. Not the biggest deal but if you're looking for improvement in packaging I would suggest that.

I was missing 6 meals

I was missing 6 meals, my breakfast muffins, two bags of the Chocolate Drizzle Macaroons, 1 bag of the cinnamon almonds. Being my first time using Fresh and Lean, that didn't sit well with me. With that being said, the representative I was chatting with was nice and sending me my missing meals and the others. Although, I'm not to happy that I have to use the Chef-curated meals, I decided to try it and see what meals I receive.

This company is horrible

This company is horrible. You cancel and they still continue to charge you and send food. Total Fraud. Food sucks worst experience with this kind of food prep company.

The only catering place with no seed oils

Loved the variety of dishes, low cost and especially that it does not use unhealthy oils, so no seed oils.
It is impossible to find a catering service that does not use seed oils, which make us so sick and fat.
Love that it uses organic ingredients and so many vegetarian, gluten free options.

The variety of foods are awesome but…

The variety of foods are awesome but the seasoning is beyond lacking. In addition, anything with root vegetables does not cook well. I've never had such hard sweet potatoes or egg plant. The cost is a bit much but it would be worth it if the flavor was there.

I used a competing product for several…

I used a competing product for several years and when I heard about Fresh N' Lean, I made the change.

There are plenty of offerings and I have yet to have one that I did not enjoy.

The delivery service refuses to use the…

The delivery service refuses to use the gate code to securely deliver my box of food. Instead they leave it outside on the sidewalk on a busy street. It is beyond frustrating. Fresh N Lean customer service has not been helpful. The only solution is to charge me $25 for shipping to use an alternative company.

My other big issue is the amount of plastic packaging. I eat plant based food for the environment. I think this is a net negative.

On the bright side, I enjoy the taste, variety, and freshness of the food.

Meat and fish proteins are chewy

Cons: Steaks were super tough and difficult to chew, even in the thinnest of cliches, chicken chunks tough and dry, shrimp small and resistant to chewing.
Two of 10 meals sent were NOT selected, and these “substitutions” were made without warning.
Pro’s: Meals delivered cold and vacuum-packed, and 20% of those consumed were tasty and satisfying, along with (Most Important], a low salt content
