Chargers never seem to be working or maintained
First time using Fuuse charger at Ninewells hospital. Rushing in to see I'll family and the charger showing online but not showing on the app. Call in to be told sorry it's offline. Nearest charger is miles away. Zero use to me currently.
Callum’s Attitude Was Absolutely Appalling
Avoid, avoid, avoid. I recently used one of their charging points and had an issue with the charging session. I was pre-authorised £50 three separate times, leaving £150 held on my account, and I’m still waiting for the money to be refunded after 5 days.
I contacted customer service to try and get this resolved. I spoke to Callum, who refused to escalate the issue and then hung up on me.
The charging point itself has been unreliable, and the customer service has been even worse. Terrible experience from start to finish. I would seriously recommend avoiding this service.
What a total waste of time
What a total waste of time! you can't get hold of these people, their systems are just useless, including their AI assistant very day you have to turn the power off, and reboot the system.
We have had problems with this from the start!
Just not worht it.
Took 3x£45 as the charging failed to
Took 3x£45 as the charging failed to
Work, they say it’s working after a reset but they will need to authorise another £45…. So withholding £180 and no charge… no thanks! Sad to be joining the many others on here. Terrible company that clearly need to give up and walk away.
Faulty EV charger, very poor customer service
Charging at Summercourt, St Austell, I only wanted to stop for 30 mins max. When I came to stop the charge it wouldn't recognise the card, even the emergency stop button wouldn’t work. First customer services call just cut off after 8 mins, second call took 30 mins to answer! All the time my car is charging, extra charge I didn't want. Didn't even get an apology for the hideously long time it took to answer the call.
Stressful, considering I wanted to be on my way after half an hour max.
Wish I had seen these reviews prior to charging with Fuuse. Will definitely avoid in the future.
Charger delivered no charge
As so many people seem to experience, this charger did not work. There was no apparent fault, they took 25 pounds as a payment authorization from my account (I have never experienced this before, the charger session said it started, it was showing a green light and not a fault - and then it simply delivered no charge at all. This was a real problem that meant I had to go and find another charger taking more time out of my journey, and I'm still waiting for my money back. This company should not be in operation.
I scanned the QR code on tbe charging…
I scanned the QR code on tbe charging station at a local hospital car park They immediately took £40.00 from my bank & the charge didn't even work. I waited for 24 hrs for my money to be refunded & it hasn't. The contact number doesn't work & only directs you to "online information". Please DO NOT use this service, it's absolutely appalling !! 🤨🤨
One of the worst ever EV charging…
One of the worst ever EV charging companies around, they have the chargers in the car parks in Saltburn and Guisborough and at my work place at the James Cook University Hospital and they rarely work.
Always issues with them, lots of faults and their customer services is atrocious not once have they ever been able to resolve any issue of mine from the charger being locked in after a charge has completed to the chargers offline. Takes payment but fails to charge. I could go on.
I recommend avoiding Fuuse completely as their chargers are nothing but stressful and the company is just awful. Just look at the reviews they literally have 1 star on trust pilot as an average.
tried x4 different chargers at Dale…
tried x4 different chargers at Dale Street and Kempston Street (Liverpool), all kept failing after a short while.
Ended up having to drive the car to an Instavolt charger, which although was a more expensive charger, at least is was reliable
tried to connect to your outlet at…
tried to connect to your outlet at Strawberry Field farm. 1st would not connect £65 deduct, try again, once more a £65 deduct from card, moved to another charging unit, tried again £65 deducted again but finally connected .Charged car would not release charger had to go into the shop and staff came and released the charger from the car. so £195 taken for £25 cost approx the spent over 20 minutes listening to recorded garbage for no one to pick up the call. DO NOT USE absolute rubbish service
chargers in Haywards heath
Chargers in Haywards heath. Tried 2 but neither connected ( usually use blink with no issues). Tried to contact help line waiting for 6 mins..no answer...tried again and waited 3 mins no answer so gave up. Will not use again. App is really slow too
DON’T INSTALL THESE CHARGERS - TOTALLY USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE!
We installed 2 chargers for our guests. When they work, they’re fine. But if you have a problem, the customer support is terrible. No contact number for support. So you have guests stood there asking for help and you are powerless to do anything. The dashboard on the host platform is also really clunky and tricky to navigate, with loads of meaningless jargon. Wish we’d gone for a different company. I also notice how they don’t seem to reply to any of the negative reviews on Trustpilot. Always really bad sign for any company.
Absolutely appalling service if you…
Absolutely appalling service if you want to charge an EV!
All public chargers in my city recently switched over to fuuse as the Charge Place Scotland system has been wound down, and now all of a sudden none of them work!
It seems many of the machines don't "deliver power" but this isn't apparent from the machines/app, so you only find out when you come back after several hours to find your car hasn't charged! Fuuse don't provide any technical/ engineering support.
Their customer support seem to have very little idea how the machines work, which doesn't instil confidence. You are charged £25 every time you try to start a charge, which isn't refunded for weeks!
My advice is to avoid their chargers at all cost, it may cost more to charge elsewhere, but it will save your sanity!
Bloody stupid app
Bloody stupid app. Written by a moron. These apps are supposed to be easy. Not "guess what the English means"
Frustrating experience switching to Fuuse
Our ICS chargers were working fine on the original software, but we were then told we had to move everything over to Fuuse to keep them running.
The instructions online weren’t very helpful, and every time we called for support we were told someone would call us back, which never actually happened. We eventually got an email saying ICS customers don’t have phone support at all.
Waiting up to three working days for email replies isn’t really practical when you’re trying to keep chargers up and running for customers. At one point, we honestly found more help using AI tools than from the support channels provided.
Having read other reviews, we’re now also a bit concerned about what our own customers might experience when using the chargers going forward.
Poor tech, poor banking, poor service
Attempted to use the chargers on the A5 at Checkly Wood. It's a great concept, cheapest charging around. But don't be fooled. Sadly it is run by Fuuse who are the worst of the EV charging companies out there. They will take £40 as a pre-payment, and unlike other providers who are able to release refunds quickly, Fuuse offers a poor servive that takes days. Their equipment also frequently fails to communicate correctly with vehicles. One day you can charge no problem, the next, nothing. In the latter case I was advised to try different chargers, each of course taking my money for 3 to 5 working days. Be warned, stay away from them.
Abysmal
Bad to worse. Not only did the charger not work and charge a £50 deposit for both failed attempts to charge - the money is not "pending", it has actually been taken by Fuuse. No refund after 5 working days, just a removal of the money entirely.
Small claims here we come. Utterly abysmal.
Top service - one and done
Robin provided all the information needed on the first request to enable the switch over of our chargers from WIFI to ethernet. Great Service. Thanks Guys.
Dreadful Company
dreadful company-one star for the review is one too many- took £30 as a pre-authorisation for EV charging- this money was not a pending amount, it was taken from my account. Queried this with customer support who would not admit that the money had been taken from by account insisting it was a pending amount. Eventually I was a given a STAN code and asked to contact my bank which I did but the bank confirmed that as the money has been taken from my account ( FUUSE customer service wound not admit to this) I would also require ARN code for the amount to be released . I relayed this to customer support and requested an ARN code but they are no longer replying to my messages- will be avoiding FUUSE charging points in the future
Very poor provider
Of all the EV charging providers out there, this has to be one of the worst. You’d think it would be fairly simple, the technology has been around for a while now. But no. The charger got stuck on ‘commutating with vehicle’ as I stood in the pouring rain for what seemed like a life time. I eventually gave up and found a charger from another provider that actually manages to produce a product that reliably works, only to find that Fuuse had taken the obligatory hold payment from my account for doing nothing but causing me inconvenience. 4 days later they still have my money. No doubt it will be the banks fault. I don’t care mate, I just won’t be using your chargers again because they are utter pants, and neither will many others judging by your 1 star overall review rating!
