Spoken with customer services to a lady called Caroline who immediately took ownership of this and progressed it. This has restored my faith in the company. It is only down to people like Caroline who are attentive and responsive with a mindset of getting things resolved. She is a credit to the company because on the back of this (and I am in good faith waiting for the missing item which I’m told will be despatched shortly) that I will use Garden Trading again.

Previously:I spent £470 on two orders submitted in 15 September. The website said delivery 3-5 working days which was actually 10 days plus before order received in batches. I raised two enquiries via the website for missing items, no reply. I sent a further email to customer care and I lodged a query/complaint via direct message on Instagram, still nothing. While Garden Trading has some beautiful things and items can be particularly attractive when there are sales, the customer service part is frankly non existent as no steps have been taken at all to acknowledge or deal with the items that I’ve yet to receive. The order history on website shows as completed and it is clearly not.
We are now into October and I have yet to hear.
Therefore, zero confidence in making future purchases given the experience.
I purchased some items last year too and it took a long time for another particular item to be dispatched but put that down to Christmas trade delays.
A real shame & hugely frustrating. Still waiting …
I have since telephoned customer care and spoke to a lovely lady who has taken charge of this and awaiting a reply.

It seems that the issue is under resourcing of customer care so frankly people at the top need to address this. The upside is that I got to speak to a human being!

I have now raised this from a one to a two star experience pending resolution. My reason for this is that the customer care lady is very personable and approachable and fully understood my frustration so I’ve upgraded the star!

The chair did not match the description and the process of returning it was very stressful.
I have given one star because the customer services team before and after purchase were excellent, but once the issue was escalated to the manager the response rate was very slow and unhelpful. I would have liked to discuss it on the phone but they insisted on sending standard replies by email. After a week of stressing over how I would return the item without paying over £100 to do so, the customer services team were simply able to arrange the return for me for a reasonable price in order to receive a full refund. The item was collected next working day. It could have been resolved in 24hrs if management had been this helpful.

I had to replace the two cheaply made doormats that have literally fallen apart. So I searched for doormats that were properly constructed and found, what I am hoping, to be, long lasting wire and coir material with no cheap rubber backing. These two doormats appear to be sturdy, rather than with a silly pretty pattern on them to keep your mind off of how cheaply made that they are. Of course time will tell about the longevity of the product and I can only assume that they will last longer than a year or two like the others that I had. There was not an origin of construction tag on the doormats so I am hoping that the UK can at least produce a simple doormat without going to China for something that can be produced locally. Garden Trading was easy to deal with and sent the doormats out fairly quickly. Good communication to inform me of the process and when to expect the delivery.

No delivery no information no response to email goods not received

One item arrived broken and another was missing from the order. Reported to customer services and still waiting for a response 2 weeks later.
