I ordered boots, and it took nearly a month to arrive. When I opened them, they were the wrong shoes. I complained and was told it was on me to get them back to China, which is against consumer law if the company sends the wrong item. They are clearly just sending whatever and hoping to hold onto as much money as possible. Do not buy! They also offed me a 15% discount to keep them and was told if I sent them to wrong address (the UK return on the packaging) they would be destroyed and I wouldn't get refund.

*edit* we settled on a 50% discount and the heel fell off the boots after wearing them twice.

Just the same as wild horizon. I wonder if it is the same Chinese company as the tactics it uses sound very similar

All products come from china and take ages to arrive. The quality of the products are absolutely awful along with the quality of customer service that is awful. I am trying to return a cheap and nasty suit they shamefully sold despite it being practically see through and itchy material and compleltey the wrong size. The customer service department have been nothing but rude to me the entire time and will only offer me %25 of the suits value refunded or I have to pay for a return back to china which costs more than the actual suit. They advertise as an English brand but it’s not even close (being in CHINA) if I could give 0 stars I would.

Yes, they are based in China and my leather shoes were Faux leather, they are con artist and should be avoided at all cost.

Like a few others on here i wished I’d have read the reviews first! I ordered a pair of size 10 trainers they posted me a size 9 that were clearly labelled a size 9 that didn’t fit! They asked me to send a picture to them with a measuring tape next to it to prove the size of the trainers! They flat out refused to send me a return label! I’ve sent a dispute to my bank hopefully they can sort it out

Why can we not give zero stars? I ordered a pair of boots and realised they are not leather after all. They are made of cheap plastic. Yes cheap plastic ...

The item when it arrived wasn’t Gents of Britain it was just some random Chinese brand. No way of contacting them after the order and I’m now progressing with my credit card company as I have no way to return the item.

I can see you have replied but have you made any attempt to contact me via email? I have the jumper I don’t want but can’t return it and £50 I’m owed back.

I should have read here first. The goods actually come from China, which is misleading for a company called Gents of Britain. That means they'll take longer than you think to arrive, and that you can't easily return them if they don't fit or you don't like them, both of which were true for me.

You'll have to pay shipping for the return (£25 for me from the UK) and hope the goods aren't seized by customs because their value is higher than €10 - that's what customer support told me.

It seemed as though they were trying to scare me off with how risky returning can be. They even used an eco-based argument to underline why they don't want people sending things all that way. Why, then, send them all that way in the first place?

The counter-offer was a partial refund of 15% then 20% then 25% each time I said no, I want to send them back. (Given that, don't settle for 15% if you're in the same position.)

Regardless of delivery/returns, I was unhappy with the boots themselves. They looked sleek and of good quality in the photos on the website - the sort of quality you'd expect for £65 - but felt flimsy and cheap when they arrived. The soul was foamy and soft and the leather smelt heavily of chemicals. They didn't even come in a box, but a drawstring bag.

They squished my toes together at the top (they are pointed, to be fair) but felt ill-fitting around the ankle and leg so as to remind me of wearing wellies, which wasn't the look I was going for.

I don't think the pictures are entirely misleading because I recognise in them the product that turned up, but they present an image of a boot which appears far higher quality than the boot actually is.

Lesson learned: do not buy from a company whose name I don't recognise, and who doesn't have reviews on its website. And check where the products actually come from!

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.
For this company there should be a negative star selection, having to select one star is far more than they deserve. The worst response I’ve ever received from a company, they completely ignored the questions I asked, and provided inaccurate information. The worst bit is yet to come, they “provided” me with the “tracking number”, in order to track my overdue delivery I would have to pay to access the information, disgusting attitude towards resolving my issues.

Got the product.

It is not luxury, it was not real leather. It eas poorly made.

I've finally received the two items and they're so blatantly not the same as the items shown on the website it's ridiculous.

I've got this cheap knock off jacket that is nothing like the one shown on the website and some shirt I could've got a better quality at the local market.

Thanks for wasting my time with your fraudulent products, I'll be reporting you to the relevant agencies.

The worst experience I had in online shopping!!! How those companies are still open? It’s just a scam with chip items.
No refund, no phone number, nu nothing…

Bought a pair of shoes but then they told they didn't have them in my size. Asked for a refund but would only give a voucher. After some back and forth and pulling out consumer laws they then finally gave me a refund.

Unacceptable treating customers like that

Avoid, fake products and fake address in Netherlands. The company is based in China but for some obvious reason they hide this fact. My girlfriend bought me boots from this website but it turns out to be all fake. Now in the process of putting a claim with our card provider to investigate.
Funny enough the website only ship to the UK ! It must be a targeted scam.

Absolute waste of time, items arrived very late and weren't the items I'd ordered. Very vague refund process which I'm still battling with.

Very poor quality clothing and nothing like advertised- absolute rubbish- do not buy from this site.

You place an order they take the cash they send you any old product in my case the complete wrong size and then wants an 85% premium if you want to return it. They are a straightforward rip-off merchant.

Awful company. Coat took 2 weeks to arrive. It was not as advertised and appalling quality. Asked for a refund. They said I could accept a refund of 15% of what I paid or pay £15-£25 to return coat to America. After reading other reviews I realised that this is a scam company so didn’t want to waste more money sending the item to America. Instead I gave it to charity where hopefully someone will benefit

Avoid avoid avoid please. Registered somewhere in the nether country Holland. The shirt received was absolute rubbish. Nothing like the images and promises on its website. Probably Indian scammers supplying third world goods from a Delhi sweatshop.

Scammers!! Don’t use or you’ll just loose your money. Simple as that
