London Black Cabs are hardly more expensive now than Ubers and in truth can save you both money and time by virtue of knowing the less trafficked routes and that they have that crazy turning radius and are allowed to drive in bus lanes. Ubers are stuck in traffic while a black cab hangs a U turn onto an un crowded side street or zips through in the bus lane. Just makes sense now that other rides have climbed in price, cancel constantly and have unbearably opaque price gouging tactics once you’ve begun the booking.
