Price increase after paying..
I ordered a part at a certain price plus shipping. Shipping was expensive.
I just got an email stating the price has gone up almost $17.00 and i had to pay in order for it to ship.
It should have been shipped days ago.
SCAM.....SCAM !!

I ordered two key fobs for my car. After a few days, I received a text stating
GMPartsGiant: Your order VG666777846 requires action.

I click and I am told that the price of my order has increased and I need to pay more to get my order shipped.
The price nearly doubled!
I responded with requesting an immediate refund. Now the above link says my order is cancelled. Of course, the charge on my debit card is still sitting there.
I just went back to their website and looked up the key fob once again. It has the original price I paid, not the excessive price I was later told I needed to pay.
The fish in this pond don't smell very good.
In reply to the response I received below. You have the item for sale and presumably you have it in stock. How does the price change? You'd have to be the ones changing the price. I really don't care what your policies are. Imagine if the grocery stored decided to change the price of a half a gallon of milk after the cashier rang it up and ran my card, but before she bagged it all. "Oh sir, that milk changed in price while I was bagging your shit. You have to authorize more for this milk or I can't let you take it." LMFAO

Bait and switch pricing scheme
I monitored an item (part no 85769913) on their website for 2-3 weeks at the listed price.
I placed an order at 11:40am and immediately completed payment at the stated price. Within 40 minutes of my payment being processed, the vendor claimed the price had increased and demanded an additional payment to complete my order.
This is not a legitimate price adjustment - it's a bait and switch. The price was consistent for weeks before my purchase. Charging customers again after they've already paid is unethical and potentially illegal depending on your location.
I contacted customer service multiple times, speaking with both the customer service manager and order processing manager. They confirmed this is their standard policy.
This is not an error or isolated incident. This vendor intentionally charges you at checkout, then demands additional payment after you've already paid. It's a textbook bait-and-switch scheme presented as normal business practice.
Do not order from this vendor under any circumstances.

We understand your concern and would like to clarify that OEM part pricing is based on manufacturer-supplied catalog data and may change when the manufacturer updates its pricing. Unfortunately, these updates can occur after an order is submitted but before it is processed for shipment.
When a price change occurs, we notify the customer before proceeding and provide the choice to approve the updated price or cancel the order for a full refund. We do not charge the additional amount without the customer's authorization.
