Those positive reviews you see about Freddie are true - the process is simple to follow (and simple means organized, thorough, with well-trained personnel), staff are amazing (nice, diligent, competent and present) and the place is neat. David, my nurse, made it feel like a conversation you have with an old friend, gave me all the info I needed and performed the lab tests with care and dexterity.

Clinician was very knowledgeable and kind. I was open and honest about private things and there was absolutely no judgement or anything on their side of it. They were understanding of my situation and provided facts and insight into my options. Going into it i thought it was going to be heavy conversation or at the very least awkward, but there was none of that- it was light and easy.

Signing up was a breeze, the tele-health/virtual option is great for someone like me as ive been putting this visit off because im deterred from doctor visits to avoid sitting in a waiting room 2 hours passed when my appointment was supposed to be, after getting there early.

They tell you to sign in 5 minutes early for your Freddie visit so you’re ready- i was running maybe 2 minutes late, signed in, and someone was with me after about a minute of sitting there. A health provider being 2 minutes early may not seem like much to the average person but for someone like me that’s huge!

Would definitely recommend!

The Freddie PrEP itself is a really good tool to help and protect different communities. Cost-wise? Nothing really, if you are covered by the government or has a good insurance. Their medical team will assure and help you to get your needs.
