I ordered several sweaters that were listed as "Premium Quality – Made from 100% top-grade cashmere 100% cashmere." They ended up being cheap polyester, poorly made with exposed seams, hanging threads and no labels--nothing listing the seller or the material or anything. They were also shipped from China, not from a NYC boutique like the seller claim to be.

Apparently I have to ship them to China for a refund. Will it even make it back to them and will they even say it did?

All you have to do is compare GraceandJax.com with HenryRoseNewYork.com and they have the same exact story with virtually the same cheap products that will probably fall apart in less than a year. Neither site states what fabrics they use; the things I ordered were the cheapest polyester with inferior sewing and I received two wrong items and have yet to receive a refund for them nor my entire purchase. Their so-called discounts are more than one should pay full price for these inferior products and good luck trying to return things! They both have going out of business sob stories on Facebook and state that they've been in business for 21 years (more like 2 months). Scammers through and through!

This company misrepresents their products, their location for purchase, their guarantee as well as easy return! (I wish I could add photos to my review) I in good faith ordered 2 lovely cotton/linen dresses which when I received them are 95% polyester and 5% spandex! The Company apologized that the product didn’t meet my expectations (?) and offered me 10% discount (which is the same discount they offered and didn’t give to me when I made my purchase. Bad bad company and I’m bitter that I trusted them, I’m trusting karma will come to them for all the customers like myself, whom they’ve ripped off.

Yup, this is a scam all right. A winsome backstory, stock photos of their kids that have shown up on other websites, the works. Of course, I didn't realise that until after I'd paid. Anyway, the website was opened in August, it looks like. I'm giving it two stars for a couple of reasons. I knew it was a scam before the clothing arrived, so I was resigned to being completely ripped off and not getting anything, but much to my surprise it did show up. It arrived in reasonably good time, and it was better than my very low expectations, honestly, though made of cheap material that will probably fall apart in the wash. But save your money. And CHECK that a store exists before falling for the Facebook ads.

I ordered a shirt from this website that says it was COTTON, and instead it was polyester! The shirt didn't even match what was pictured. The sizing was off too, I went with the dimensions on the website and it was too large. The return policy is AWEFUL! Don't waste your money. The pictures are pretty, but the clothing you receive look nothing like the photo.

Wish I would have read the reviews before ordering. The dress was so cute and was supposed to be linen/cotton. It arrived yesterday and is 100% polyester! What a ripoff!

Nothing to add that others haven’t already said. After numerous emails, and offers to give me a reduced price on future orders or a discount on this one - They did agree to give me a refund if I sent the items back - TO CHINA (despite appearing that the shop is in NYC) and they “strongly encourage” paying extra for tracking to ensure it got there. I’m in the process of having my credit card company pursue them.

Dresses looked so nice online, but it was not high quality when it arrived. It is China quality.
Also, the size small was too roomy, so I had good reason to want a refund. Don't bother! That's just false advertising! First I jumped through the hoop of taking a picture of the items with the size showing In order to talk not about a return. Then since their return warehouse is in China and my shipping cost would be exorbitant, they offered 10% back and i keep the items, or pay them even more ($11.50 per item handling fee) and they would send 2 more items that I couldn't use. 🙄
Just want to warn others. I wish I'd have looked at reviews before falling.

Printed shower curtain material dresses that look NOTHING like the ads. Fraud. Everything shows NY but comes from China. Avoid unless you've got money to just throw away!

I can't believe I fell for yet another Facebook clothing scam!! I promised myself I'd never buy another item of clothing advertised on Facebook, but this company had lots of good reviews. NO! The product is crap! They are going out of business, apparently, so it doesn't matter now.

Dress description and photograph did not match the dress I received. The only description that could apply was that it had pockets. The models wearing the actual dress would not have been smiling at all. It was cheaply made of polyester and spandex -more polyester. I feel I would get a rash if I wore this dress. To top it off the sizing was off. I ordered a small and tried the dress on over my clothes and it was baggy. I wonder why they even used spandex in it.

I would give them a minus star review if possible.

I think this is a scam company. The dress I received looked more like a cheap Halloween costume. The material is so awful and the cut of the dress was not a good fit at all. I am a size 6/8 and it did not fit my chest area and bunched up at the back of the shoulders. They promote the sale claiming the dresses are worth $100-$200 and you get the “going out of business discount”. These dresses are NOT worth more than $20 if that. They are awful, polyester and feel like plastic when you put it on. DON’T buy. I’d rate this company a 0. I truly think it’s a scam and the pictures of the couple on their ad is not a real couple.

I would give Zero stars if I could! This company is Strictly from. China and sells you terrible cheap fabric and cheap quality everything. Lost a lot a money.
Don’t be stupid like I was. You will be very disappointed.
Returning items to china is impossible and they will give you a meager 10% of what you spent back.

This is a big bate and switch operation. All of their
website verbiage refers to stores in New York, with shipping using UPS. However, the package I received was from China, using a shipper called GOFO. The fabric of the dresses I received look NOTHING like the
fabric in the website photos. The fabric is cheap and shiny with none of the texture apparent in the website photos. Grace & Jax clearly practices fraudulent marketing. Their email address is "@trevligborg.reamaze.com." Read the reviews about Trevliborg and you will see this company's pattern of deception.
