So bad after such a good first order
So bad after such a good first order. Two missed delivery slots and a substandard quality of stone in the one that did arrive. There were no communication updates about the missed deliveries and i had to chase them to find out what happened. Customer services offered no apologies or empathy. Constantly had to chase for updates and my refund, even though the staff promised that they would update me.
Customer service shouldn't hinge on the manger being in the office. There were plenty of opportunities for someone to step up and resolve my issues before now, your staff just didn’t want to!

Cotswold Chippings
Easy to navigate site and very straightforward to order. Sample arrived in a couple of days and it was exactly what we wanted re colour and size of chippings (Cotswold). We then placed order and it arrived 5 days later. Driver was very helpful and polite. Definitely recommend this company.

We bought 2000KG of Flamenco gravel
We bought 2 1000kg bags of Flamenco gravel over the summer months for paths and a seating area .
This was a good choice nice colour ,size and texture
However there is a lot of powdered limestone in the bulk bags.If you don't want the mess you can buy a pallet of pre washed gravel in 20kg have but it does cost more.

Good till something goes wrong
This would be a 5 star review but for one aspect, first the good points. Quality gravel good price very fast delivery, now the bad point with my jumbo bag of gravel I ordered a tub of resin which didn't come with the order immediately I phoned customer services of which they were apologetic and agreed to a refund of the resin , but unfortunately the refund took 4 weeks to come after a further 3 phone calls

My stones were delivered but missing…
My stones were delivered but missing the weed membrane and pegs. I then had to go out and purchase membrane and pegs from another store. The delivery driver says he gets this a lot, that customers are missing other items in the delivery.
I contacted Gravelmaster and asked for a refund and they kept coming back trying to offer me credit rather than give me the refund for the items. Each time I said no, please just refund me my money.
I am still waiting for my refund.

The website is very straightforward. Its easy to order and came when it said it would. The stones I ordered were of good quality and my project is showcasing them beautifully.
I was a little nervous spending large amounts of money with a company I had never heard of but i trusted the reviews and im pleased I did.
I have placed 2 orders with this company and had no issues with either. No doubt I will use them again in the future.

The pebbles were beautiful
The pebbles were beautiful and it was a good price. However delivery was delayed by a good few days. This caused a bit of a problem with building schedules but it was managed in the end. You outsource to delivery companies and the one we were dealing with were unhelpful.
I’m unsure of the exact date now. Just guessed.

Half the quantity and a fake product turned up!
Order arrived with 2x half filled 80cm builders bags rather than the 2m3 I actually ordered. Second time they have tried this.
“Compost” was low quality sandy soil with an inch of actual compost hiding it. Lucky I was home to reject it.
Promised to deliver urgently 3 days later. Never arrived and no contact.
Pursued a refund, staff were helpful with that. But left me waiting three weeks to return several hundred pounds.
Overall you couldn’t do much worse if you tried.
