Excellent company
From start to the completion of the installation of my solar panels and battery system everything went smoothly and to perfection.
No pushy sales people. Everything was thoroughly explained and tailored exactly to my specific needs.
Office staff kept me up to date at every stage via email and telephone calls.
On the installation day all the staff were friendly and helpful. The whole job was completed in about 5 hours and how everything works was thoroughly explained.
This system is already saving me a significant amount on my electricity bill.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking about installing a solar system 😀

From first contact to the install of the solar panels and battery the experience has been exceptional, great customer service, they’re very happy to explain in laymen’s terms any question asked and assist with all the paperwork. You can always get someone to speak to in the office about any queries without a long wait or myriad of options to choose from. Install engineers were fantastic too, only took a day to fit 12 panels and battery, very very happy.

Annual Service
Stephen recently carried out our annual service on our heat pump, and as always, provided an excellent service. He was professional, knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly.
While carrying out the service, Stephen also helped identify an intermittent issue we had been experiencing with our hot water. He explained what was causing the problem, what needed to be done to resolve it, and made sure we understood the solution.
It’s great to have someone who not only knows their trade but takes the time to provide that extra level of service. Would highly recommend Stephen for his knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail.

Great service in all areas – thank you!
From the first point of contact I found Greener Energy Group to be excellent. The consultant who came to our property was polite and explained our options clearly. There was no hard sell either then or subsequently. The visit was followed up the next day with a courtesy message saying if had any questions to get in touch. The system design was built to suit our needs and house. Greener Energy Group were able to start the installation four days after we agreed the purchase. The whole fitting process ran smoothly and efficiently. The scaffolders arrived one day, the solar panel fitters the a couple of days later and then the scaffolders came back to remove the scaffolding two days later. Less than a week from on site to off site. All the staff were excellent, friendly and polite and respectful of our property. The two technicians completed the 14 panel plus battery install in one day and they were excellent and helped us with the app and ensured everything was working before they left at the end of a long day. The installation was professional, neat and tidy. Customer service from the office, pre and post fitting has been excellent. The telephone is answered promptly and the people you speak to know how to help or certainly find out quickly what is required. To be fair I only called with minor queries a couple of times as everything was so well explained in their calls/e mails to us. The process for the SEG/DNO takes some time to happen due to the network providers processes and I am sure GEG will assist with any subsequent queries I might have in this regard.
Great service in all areas – thank you all very much and I would have no hesitation in recommending Greener Energy Group.

Smooth, efficient and timely
There was no hard sell from the consultant when we met him at our property and he explained clearly what would suit our needs.
Greener Energy were able to start the installation four days after we agreed the purchase. The whole fitting provess ran smoothly and efficiently, The scaffolders arrived one day, the solar panel fitters the following day and the scaffolders came back the day after to remove the scaffolding.
Fitters were excellent and helped us with the App. Customer service from the office, pre and post fitting has been excellent.

We had a good experience with Greener…
We had a good experience with Greener Energy Group in terms of fitting our solar panels, the fitting was done efficiently and professionally. The only snag we had was at the design stage, we were advised only 7 panels would fit but both the electricians and fitters questioned why we weren't fitting more- as a result it was quickly corrected and a further 4 panels were fitted.

I had their service engineer out to do the annual maintenance on my heat pump and while he was here he helped me diagnose and get a remedy for a faulty EV charger. I can’t thank them enough for their assistance.

I’ve left many reviews for Greener Energy Group in the past, and every one of them was a 5-star review. But now my opinion has changed!
It feels like the goal is to get customers to install solar panels or a heat pump, and then you’re left on your own afterwards.
I was quoted £5,500 to replace a gas boiler, which I believe is far too expensive.
My advice is to do plenty of research before committing and make sure you fully understand the long-term costs and support you’ll receive after the installation.
I also want to make it clear that this was my honest opinion about the company and was based on my genuine experience. After I posted my review, an employee called me and offered to carry out a service for free if I removed the review. In my opinion, this was completely inappropriate.
I now understand how they may have achieved a 4.7-star rating. Please don’t let yourself get drawn into their web.
My service was postponed twice. On one occasion, I was informed about the delay two hours after the scheduled time, despite having taken time off work to be at home. They also do not appear to have a specialist capable of connecting the underfloor heating system.
Based on my experience, I strongly recommend doing thorough research before using this company and making sure you know exactly what level of support you will receive after installation.

Firstly, we would never offer free services in exchange for the removal of a review. Following your feedback, we contacted you because we were concerned that you were unhappy and wanted the opportunity to understand your concerns and see if there was anything we could do to improve your experience. As part of that conversation, we offered to carry out your annual service free of charge as a genuine goodwill gesture to apologise for the inconvenience you had experienced with the postponed appointments. This offer was made irrespective of whether your review remained online.
We fully acknowledge that your service appointment was rescheduled, and we appreciate the frustration this caused, particularly after you had taken time away from work. We apologise that our communication on one of those occasions did not meet the standard we expect of ourselves.
Regarding the quotation to replace your gas boiler, this was entirely separate from your original renewable energy installation. The quotation reflected the specification of the work required and the quality of the products and workmanship we provide. We appreciate that customers are free to compare quotations and choose the solution that best suits their needs.
We are also sorry that you felt unsupported following your installation. Providing ongoing aftercare is extremely important to us, and our dedicated service and aftercare team supports thousands of customers across Scotland each year. While we recognise that we have fallen short of your expectations on this occasion, it is not representative of the level of service we continually strive to deliver.
Greener Energy Group has successfully completed more than 6,000 renewable energy installations, and we are proud that the vast majority of our customers rate their experience highly. We understand, however, that every customer's experience matters, and we remain committed to learning from feedback whenever we fall short.

I’ve had my air source heat pump since 2019. It was installed by GreenerEnergyGroup. Every year I have it serviced by the company to continue my guarantee and to make sure it keeps running smoothly. Today my Service Engineer was Steve. Steve made an extra effort to get to me promptly. While he was here, I found him to be professional and skilled, as well as kind and considerate. I am really pleased with Steve’s work on my system.

We were far from a straight forward installation (renovation of an old cottage) and there were problems along the way, but greener energy always were super responsive and helpful.
