GreenThumb Lawn Treatment Service Avis 

I've been a customer of Green Thumb for a number of years & have always found the service provided to be first class & by extremely courteous staff

They always inform me well in advance when they are coming. The operative, Simon, is extremely pleasant and does a very competent job. He is efficient, not intrusive in any way, and is very helpful with his comments.
My lawn has greatly improved over the years that Green Thumb has been coming. Highly recommended!

Charlie from GreenThumb came early to apply the first of four treatments to our block paving. Really friendly, professional and efficient. A good team player as are all the GreenThumb members. Recommended.

Been using Greenthumb for years. All the neighbours and dog walkers comment on how good our lawn looks. We got a new guy today to carry out extra work (they normally send same technician for continuity and experience of a garden), his name is Steve, he said he had just recently started with Greenthumb. He was very thorough in looking for and spraying weeds, he was polite, friendly, and helpful.
He is following the same work ethic as all the other technicians we have had over the years.

The representative Jordan Egan is always polite & friendly. He has improved our lawns condition & is always happy to answer any questions.

You can tell Green Thumb was taken over over by a big corporate by the way the customer service experience has changed. Keyto Group and UK MD Paul Edwards should investigate the very familiar pattern to these reviews. My experience is sadly familiar.

1.Long term customer
2. The automated system of amending an appointment doesn’t work. The operatives still show up even though you request the change and receive an auto acknowledgment
3. You receive an apology many weeks later due to ‘staff recruitment issues’
4. The operatives are good but tell you they hear these stories all the time these days from customers

They are very quick at invoicing you these days which is of course a win for the company.

I look forward to the standard formulaic response from customer services to this 🤣

Dave always contacts me to confirm his arrival and was helpful in answering my question about whether it was worth going ahead with the treatment as we had a hosepipe ban and the grass was very dry.

Excellent employee Jamie but centalised office coomunication is poor and inefficient. Too high tech for older customers.

We have a friendly and professional operative looking after our lawn, Perry. He keeps us informed and explains what he is doing.

Been a customer for several years and honestly it started off well when it was run by the local franchise. Then it became a case of chasing to know when treatments would happen and there was no time slot as to when they would visit even on the day itself.

I dropped from a standard programme to a basic one because I couldn’t justify the cost for such poor service & when treatments were carried out it took 5mins and I still would moss or weeds!

But the cherry on the cake has been trying to cancel the contract. Multiple email requests were ignored & so I csncelled my direct debit. I received an automated email confirming contrcqt had been cancelled & then almost 3 most later I receive a request for oustsndibg payment of a pretty large sum owed. Some of whixh was due in 2024 and I had never been made aware/notified before. I have asked for clarification and have waited months again before getting a reply. It’s pretty appalling & completely shocking customer experience. Stay away, they are not worth the price or hassle.

We have had Jamie from Canterbury for many years now and he has always done a first rate job for us. He is always on time and professional in every way. I hope we continue to see him every time.

Things have not been the same since the company has changed the way it operates with a customer service call centre. Instead of just ringing with a query or a request for a date change, we now have to email the call centre and they then take 4-5 days to answer you. This is truly a down turn.

Last lawn treatment was back in February 2026 ,had not communication from Greenthumb ,extremely disappointed with my service schedule,my lawn has never looked as bad since the service was taken back from the franchise.Seriously considering going elsewhere for my lawn treatment if your service doesn’t improve ..

Once again Green Thumb Torbay deliver excellent service. On time, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Andy the operative, takes the time to explain what is required and is extremely helpful. I find the treatments work very well, and at a reasonable price.

Awful customer service from North Lincolnshire branch. Been a customer for years, tried to contact them many times to discuss how ineffective their treatments have become. No response for weeks / months. When I did get a response, they then didn't reply to my follow to their email. Trying to cancel is an absolute nightmare. Might just be our branch - but worth checking how good your branch is for customer service and treatments before signing up.

Always receive a good service

Your representative David Gleeson was excellent from the first contact to his visit today, which bodes well for any future visits. It is because of him that we signed up for regular visits. He kept us informed of estimated arrival time, carried out what seemed to us, a thorough analysis of our lawns. He tailored his suggestions to our needs. We have every confidence in him.
