Groove Pillows Avis 

I have had problems with neck/shoulder pain for a number of years which I have put down to my pillows. I have tried numerous pillows, memory foam, various weird n wonderful shaped ones, cheap ones, expensive ones, online, offline ....... and none of them worked, I still woke up with neck/shoulder pain. I just thought I'd have to resign myself to using ibuprofen gel on the worst mornings.
Then 'Groove pillows' kept popping up on my feeds (I'd obviously been talking about it to people and my phone was listenng!)
I started looking into 'best pillows for neck pain' again. I looked at a few sites but kept coming back to Groove. It has a 100 day trial, but I still wasn't convinced.
I emailed them and got a sleep specialist, called Dejan from the team to speak to.
He asked me how I slept, on my back or side, what my initial sleeping position was, if I liked soft or hard pillows and what body frame I was.
I replied and he gave advice on suitability,and how to use the pillow for side and back (I tend to start on my side then go onto my back then to side and other side etc)
He also pointed out that it may well be it wasn't suitable for me, and that there was the 100 night trial.
He touched on lots of different points and I felt he answered all my questions, however trivial, with great thought.
So, I ordered 2 pillows (as I also work sleep in shifts at work, so needed one for there too)
When I first used the pillow at home, I felt I didn't have enough space for my neck to shoulder, and couldn't really get comfortable for a few nights.
Again I spoke to Dejan. He suggested putting a folded towel under the pillow, and pointed out it could take up to 3 weeks to get used to it. He also said that their was the option of the adjustable pillow, but did NOT push me to get it.
I persevered, and after a week or so, I was waking up fine. I used the towel for a night or so, but then found I didn't need it, and now I use it easily and wake up neck and shoulder pain free.
At home I have a memory foam mattress, and at work it is a sprung traditional mattress and find both are suitable for me and the pillow, with no pain now.
I was VERY sceptical about buying this, but have been really impressed and would recommend to anyone and everyone to try them.
After all, you have nothing to lose, you've got 100 night trial.
And the sleep specialists are excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
The one and only thing that I felt I had to adjust and get used to, was that I usually sleep with my head in the middle of the pillow, but now I am at the edge of the pillow (either side) for side sleeping and in the middle for back sleeping.
A small adjustment from me to gain a great nights sleep.

This is genuinely an excellent product and has really helped my sleep issues (due to arthritis in my cervical spine). It's an odd shape, and I was sceptical at first (having tried a number of 'special' pillows), but this one really does work! I now plan on purchasing another one for my husband to see if it helps his snoring (we can dream!), but ultimately the benefits for head and neck are worth it regardless!

Delighted with my Groove pillow as it’s certainly helped with neck pain. The support it provides at the base of the neck is excellent and ever so comfy.

I have to admit I was sceptical, but I had terrible neck/shoulder pain and was willing to try anything at that point. I was so glad I did - this pillow has improved my pain considerably. I suffer from poor sleep and this has had a positive effect there as well. All in all I’m very happy with it!

I have had a number of contour pillows to aid my neck and back, most were ok some twice the price of a Groove pillow, I choose the adjustable Groove pillow to help further, from my first night sleeping I noticed a big difference and it was very comfortable also great quality, I have now had it over two weeks and adjusted the middle height to help even further, I highly recommend this pillow, thank you Groove team.

I have pain in my right knee, probably arthritis, and the pillow gives me a few hours of quality sleep so I am able to function the following day.

Following a course of physiotherapy for a trapped nerve, I sought out a better-supported pillow, and this has been an excellent purchase. It was comfortable from the first night, and I have noticed a marked improvement upon waking; the stiffness in my neck and shoulders has completely resolved.

Pleasently surprised with the quality and comfort. We've tried a number of special pillows for neck comfort and slide sleeping and these suit us both.

I loved the sculpted pillow as I could lay flat on my back and keep my neck in alignment. The game changer was the slightly raised bits on each side with the slightly hollowed out bit underneath. This allowed me to sleep on my side with my shoulder slightly tucked in underneath. I have been trying to get the same effect with a feather and foam pillow but without luck. For me the groove pillow with memory foam is making my sleep better, reducing the pain in my neck and shoulder. I will be buying a second one for the other bedroom as I'm sure other family members and people stopping over would benefit from the choice. I would definitely recommend this product.

I have been using the Groove pillow now for 6 weeks and have to tell you, it is NOT suitable for side sleepers. Yes I agree with their positioning advice regarding laying on your back or side. However, frequently throughout the night, you reposition yourself when you are asleep!
I position myself correctly when I go to sleep, but my neck has been becoming more and more painful. I have realised that this is because whilst asleep, I move and my head ends up in the middle of the pillow (on my side) with NO neck support!! They need to redesign the pillows without the groove, so they are just for side sleepers. I have no wasted £50 on something that is making my neck worse.
I have emailed them but they haven't replied... Looking at other one star reviews on here, it looks like they don't reply when you contact them.

Was recommended a Groove Pillow, as I was having neck, back pain when sleeping. Within a few days of using the pillow, the pain has gone! Took a few nights to get used to the pillow, but now I couldn’t be without it. I even took it with me recently on a trip away (was in the car so easy to transport). Would highly recommend it. Good value too compared to other pillows I’d researched.

The Groove pillow has really helped with my sleep & also with neck pain. The ordering was easy & the order was delivered the next day & with no hassles. Compared with other ortho pillows the Groove is very good value for money.

The Groove pillow has helped me recover from a recent Cervical Discectomy and Fusion operation by keeping my neck aligned when i sleep. I sleep on my back and side and the different grooves and memory foam keep my neck in place but also make it comfortable at the same time. I have told my neighbour to get one, who suffers with nerve pain to right arm and the last time i spoke to her she couldn't speak highly enough about it saying it had cured her pain. My wife now wants one so i am going to buy another one. Excellent value for money.
