Nice kit and our daughter is very happy with it. Few negatives - for the money (it’s an expensive bit of kit) it should 100% come with self levelling legs as default and for over £1000 it should absolutely come with more pins to secure the feet. I think it came with 8 or 10. It should come with enough pins for the numbers of legs/pin holes.
These points are disappointing for the money it costs. And the price of accessories is absurd.
Other than that it’s a decent bit of kit and hopefully lasts many years.

Quality is amazing and kids play on it every day even a year in!

The climbing frame is great but the error in the instructions (reported at the time) annoyed me a great deal.

Edit: in response to the reply, change it then. The instruction manual on your website is still wrong.

Ordered the compact with a couple of accessories, which took 4 weeks to deliver, which isn't what is offered at time of order. We were kept appraised during this time. Going by reviews this was a common problem. However once delivered took two attempts to build, little issues regarding stability when building but once we realised this and secured the parts of the frame when going along it became quite easy. Instructions weren't the best and some parts were spread across different boxes. Had to order another 2 ground anchors to make it more secure. But once built it was ideal for the kids. Good quality and hopefully being metal it will last longer than a wooden structure. Not a cheap item to buy but should last a number of years.

This garden climbing frame is really high quality indeed. It does take a while to assemble, but the time is worthwhile as the end result is an excellent product. It is probably best to download the assembly instructions on to a large screen device as they are easier to view, especially were orientation of components is important. The tool kit provided is also good quality too. A great overall experience and truly loved by my grandchildren.

Excellent climbing frame and the kids love it. Very sturdy, went together well. Can tell it's a high quality product which should last multiple years not just one or two summers.

One of the items I purchased (Zip Line) didn't fit my grandchildren's Growplay climbing frame. My daughter has been trying to get some different bolts for it but Growplay say they've sent them but Royal Mail doesn't have them. Im very disappointed as I hoped my grandson would be using the Zip Line but he can't until the bolts arrive.

This issue has now been resolved. Thank you.

Great customer service and support, solid build and easy to anchor to the ground. Kids are using it every day!

My daughter (aged 10) is absolutely loving her new climbing frame.
It was relatively easy to construct and is very sturdy.
I was nervous about the delivery given some of the reviews - but we had no issues and it was delivered very quickly with good communication.

My grandchildren absolutely love this. So much fun.
We are very exposed up in Shetland to the elements so be wise to take the frame down in the winter time.

Absolutely awesome equipment. Kids have never been off it since purchasing the compact frame and extra bit.
Easy to install, some of the final pieces are a little tricky. I would recommend getting the touchup paint on purchase.
Customer service was great and quick to response within 24hrs.

Be extremely careful buying these!! They are legal scam! Their website is very unhelpful and goodluck with non existent customer services.! I have spent more than £3000 and still did not receive some parts

Researched lots ahead of investing in our Compact. Assembly was straight forward (4-5 hrs solo) and its footprint really is small for a fairly compact garden so it works well. Kids are very happy with it and see years of use ahead.

4 stars rather than 5 as getting the items required a few emails to the company, however they were responsive and admitted their error and rectified it quickly.
The item itself is brilliant. Our children have played for hours, are constantly making up new games and I can see this being a staple in our garden for years. It's very sturdy and well made.

❌ Shocking product quality and completely non-existent customer service

I am writing this review to warn other parents before they spend a premium amount of money on a well below-par product. Our experience with the Growplay Compact climbing frame has been an absolute nightmare from delivery to assembly, made significantly worse by a company that completely ignores its customers.
The Product Issues: Premium Price for Poor Design
Wrong Parts & No Instructions: The frame arrived with absolutely no physical instructions. We had to dig online to find, download, and print them ourselves. Worse, the parts delivered were completely different from what was expected, and the part numbers stamped on them are almost impossible to read. You do not receive what is pictured.
Severe Assembly Damage & Misalignment: The entire frame relies on a tight "stress fit." Because the pieces provided were ill-fitting and misaligned, forcing them together caused immediate, severe scratching and cosmetic damage right out of the box (clearly visible in image_2.png, image_3.png, image_7.png, and image_9.png).
Fragile Components: The ground anchors broke like butter during a standard installation. We also ordered the basketball set, and the valve on the ball broke before it was even fully pumped up. Ironically, the most premium item in the entire order was the 8mm Allen key.
The Customer Support Experience: Total Radio Silence
Completely Ignored: I reached out directly via email with a formal complaint and photographic evidence on Friday, 26th June. Despite this, and leaving multiple follow-up comments on social media, the company has made zero effort to contact us or rectify these issues.
No Way to Contact: They deliberately do not provide a live chat or a telephone number, meaning once they have your money, you are completely stranded if something goes wrong.
If you look at the photos of our build (image.png through image_9.png), you can see the poor design, severe scraping, and misalignment for yourself. This company seems driven entirely by profit with zero regard for product quality or customer care. Save your sanity and your money—look elsewhere.

As a company that sells products for children, their continuous excuses, delays, and irresponsible attitude are deeply shameful. I am leaving this review out of pure anger at how they treat their customers to hide their own logistical failures.

I purchased the Growplay XL Pro along with several accessories, spending over $4,000 USD on May 14th as my twins’ birthday gift. When purchasing, the website stated that the items would either be delivered or fully shipped by May 30th. I explicitly placed this order based on that timeline to ensure everything would arrive in time for my twin' birthday schedule.

Since we live in Canada, we arranged delivery to a holding service near the US border, willingly preparing to pay $160 in holding fees and $720 in customs duties just to make our kids happy.

The customer service since then has been a complete nightmare, filled with contradictions and complete disregard for the customer's situation:

On June 16th, way past the promised May 30th timeline, NOT A SINGLE ONE of the 21 packages had processed. Because of this massive delay, my children's birthday schedule was completely ruined, and I had to cancel my first cross-border trip. When I inquired, customer support explicitly assured me: "I can assure you they will all leave the warehouse at once or delivered on 6/15."

On June 24th, shipping labels finally started generating one by one for the boxes. However, I noticed 4 major accessory items had zero updates. I had to reach out FIRST again to find out why. Only then did they casually reply: "we have been advised by the warehouse team that the pallet containing these items was unfortunately damaged in transit." They never proactively notified me about this shortage before unilaterally shipping the rest of the incomplete order.

On July 2nd, the 17 boxes (minus the 4 items) finally arrived at the border. Because package holding services charge heavy daily storage fees, I was forced to drive for hours to pick up the partial shipment to avoid massive storage fees accumulating until late July.

Despite splitting the shipment due to their own warehouse damage, they offered zero practical solutions. Given the nature of these 4 specific items (Ninja Sticks, Net, Basketball Kits, Sets)—which are made of highly durable materials and practically impossible to be easily damaged or broken—their excuse is completely unbelievable and feels like a cheap cover-up for a stock shortage. They unashamedly told me to just wait until the next container arrives around July 15th and "collect everything at once later," completely ignoring the reality that I am being forced to cross the international border twice.

They flatly refused to ship the remaining lightweight items directly to my Canadian address at their expense and refused any form of compensation, blaming "unforeseen circumstances." They told me to either wait weeks or just cancel the missing items.

Why would anyone spend over $4,000 if the main frame doesn't even come with the essential accessories (Ninja Net, Basketball set, etc.)? Seeing my kids so disappointed breaks my heart. Their birthday is ruined, their summer break has started, and my trust is completely broken.

If I lived in the US, I would have returned the entire unit instantly. They really do not care about their customers or the children they sell to.

I did a lot of research before purchasing from Growplay. I have two boys (8 and 10) who love to climb and swing from monkey bars. As slightly older kids who are both very tall, I was concerned about height clearance and weight loading and Growplay were best for both. Apart from the instructions for assembly (confusing and not well laid out) the product itself is great and very sturdy even with two kids swinging on it! Would recommend.
Two people and a good few hours are needed for assembly - don't rush it!
