Sprung Gym Flooring Avis 

Unfortunately, my experience with Sprung Gym Flooring was frustrating and disappointing from a customer service and transparency standpoint.

I placed an international order and paid in full, including shipping, with no mention during checkout or over the phone of any additional duties or clearance fees. Only after the goods were en route was I notified by a third-party freight company that I owed €147.18 in surprise customs charges — charges that were not disclosed at any point in the purchase process. This lack of transparency is not only poor practice but contravenes both UK and EU consumer rights regulations, which require all charges to be clearly communicated prior to purchase.

Compounding the issue, I had already contacted the company in advance to request cancellation of the order due to a bereavement and the need to leave the country. Despite this, the goods were shipped anyway — against my express instructions. My request for a refund due to both personal circumstances and the misrepresentation of costs was initially ignored.

To their credit, a representative eventually stepped in to cover the customs charges as a goodwill gesture, but by that point, the experience had already become unnecessarily stressful, especially during a difficult personal time.

In short:
• Unexpected customs fees were not disclosed at checkout.
• My cancellation request was ignored, and the order was shipped regardless.
• Communication was inconsistent, and initial accountability was lacking.

I would not recommend this company for international customers until they improve their pricing transparency and respect cancellation requests in a timely and professional manner.

The company had just what I needed, thermal/cushioning mat to go under an exterior heated whirlpool tub. Easy to joing sections together, rapid comms too.

Really impressed with the team at Sprung – I needed mats and ramps delivered quickly before going on holiday, and they were super responsive over chat. They confirmed stock, advised on delivery timelines, and arranged next-day delivery to get everything to me in time. Great customer service and communication. Highly recommend!

The product i chose is of a good quality , if needed i would re order in the future

Easy website to navigate, prompt delivery and very easy to install. The matting is currently holding a treadmill, and over 100kg of free weights, there is absolutely no wear or degrading of the material.would highly recommend

I bought gym flooring around 1 year ago for my home gym. I received the flooring promptly and have now ordered additional flooring due to the brilliant quality product. The 20mm flooring is brilliant for all types of training including HIITs, weight training and cardio sessions due to its durability and shock absorbing nature. Customer service is excellent and everyone is helpful. 5 star service and product

Got the 40mm gym tiles for our gym garage conversion, delivery was good and the product is exactly as described and what we were hoping for. Very strong and durable and look really smart too!

We've moved house and wanted to create a great home gym/training space. We've used foamy interlocking mats before but they're a false economy as they tear and just don't last.

We've bought 30mm matting and they're superb - probably more than we need, but we now have a proper workout space, giving us the floor space to use freeweights, bench work or floor work.

I feel the pricing was really reasonable and delivery prompt and efficient. Really pleased.

Product looks good, delivery reasonably timed, one thing I would say is that it would have been nice to have a time slot late the night before or early on the day instead of me chasing.

I purchased 20 of the 40mm jigsaw mats for my home dojo to practice judo on with my wife and son.
They arrived promptly on a pallet in fine condition, each had a smooth edge around them to protect the jigsaw edge and to use around the walls if required. They were easy enough to lay and connect to each other with no gaps, providing a tight, safe fit.
We've used these for full judo sessions with adults, as well as kids, and they provide great impact protection.
I've no hesitation in recommending them for such a high impact sport such as judo. We also use them for gymnastics and yoga as they are more than comfortable enough!

My garage feels like a proper wee gym now that I’ve got mats laid from Gym Flooring.
I fitted it myself and it was straight forward enough but quite tough to cut through so requires a very sharp blade.
I train 3 to 4 times a week, they’ve been down for a year and no signs of wear so lifespan should be lengthy.
I’m extremely satisfied with the whole process from ordering to price to durability and would highly recommend.

Ordered my flooring last year (2024) and I was impressed with the quick service. Very reliable company, delivery was on time. Flooring is of a high standard. I ordered the 20mm sprung pro flooring tiles and they are great for deadlifting in my garage. One year one, they are still in great condition and easily cleaned (they even sent free bottle of cleaner).

Sold me mats they didn’t even have in stock so I could finish a £40,000 landscaping project. Now I can’t even finish the job. 0/10 from me.

I bought the Gymsprung 20mm tiles for my home garage, and they are perfect for what I need and feel very strong. Easy to lay and fit. Delivery was fine and the driver helpfully put the pallet outside my garage door.

Worst experience ever!

Bought 24 mats received only 10. Delivery company knows nothing about the rest of it.

And to make things worse: I've been in contact with both the seller and the delivery company for days asking for an estimated time of delivery and nobody responds with a clear answer.

Company has good price but it is not worth the frustration.

Had an inauguration class tomorrow but now I will have to cancel it.

Do not recommend!! Not a professional company.
