Labour Exploitation
I dislike that Helpling is taking advantage of working class people. They take an awful lot of profit from the cleaners. Once I paid over €120 for 6 hours cleaning and the cleaner only got €90 out of it. It is not fair for cleaners. Also my cleaners pay was delayed more than 2 weeks and they struggled financially because of this. Helpling is also asking for €50 registration fee from new cleaners which is beyond unfair!

we're really sorry to read your feedback. All the fees and commissions are clearly and extensively presented and explained through the registration & onboarding process on the platform. If the providers decide to accept them, it's because they understand how easy will be to get customers by simply checking the app, how convenient is the possibility to manage their work through it and how safe and transparent is to receive their money every week directly on their accounts. The technological and personal support has a cost and they are the ones deciding if it makes sense for their activity (looking by the numbers, they really appreciate it!).
For what concerns an alleged payout delay, it can be for different reason and very often it is related to the provider's bank rules more than ours schedule. In any case, if the cleaner reached out to us, we have for sure given them all the answers, explanations and support needed.
Being accused to exploit people who daily decide to work through our platform to help families and households is really saddening to read but we hope we could give a better understanding of the benefits of Helpling with this reply.

Avoid it all cost
I was a cleaner for helping but never got a scent for all the cleanings I have done despite all the troubles I got but they got the money from the clients.
I kept on asking for the payment they kept on saying they sent the money o asked them to provide me the proof of that they made payment they kept on going back and forth till they blocked my account.
I worked for two months in 2021 but never got paid they keep on saying payment is being processed till 2023 till date I never got my money.
They deleted my account, but luckily I still have the email correspondence from them till today I never got paid but yet they took money from the clients,they asked me to provide my statement from my account I gave them but still no help..
Still no resolution into my complaint ,it’s hard to when need customer service.

We have finally resolved the issue but we would like to point out that there is no fault on our side at all.
As we suggested to you in 2023, the bank account registered in your profile could be wrong. You never checked or informed us about a new one and you were expecting money on an account we didn't know existed!
The error with the IBAN was on your side, so we really couldn't imagine that you had a different IBAN and never changed or asked to change.
Every time we said that things were alright on our side, they were: the payout was going out correctly to the IBAN that you had decided to use. Only afterwards the bank would send the payment back but that was never our fault: it was always an issue connected to your previous IBAN and your previous bank.
Now that you gave us the correct IBAN, everything will be finally solved.

Helpling never ever would keep providers' money! All transfers are made from customers to providers through the Stripe platform and Helpling only gets its commissions afterwards.
If you didn't receive your money the issues can be:
- the customer didn't pay
- the bank data you provided were wrong
In both cases, we have for sure supported you to find a solution and we can try to do that once again, if you could provide a name to check.
