Beautiful blinds and stellar service!
We got our Roman blinds installed in kitchen and office, and roller blinds in bedroom. The whole experience was wonderful - simple, fast and easy from the moment of viewing the samples until fitting. The blinds are so beautiful with great quality, and were so nicely fitted by Greg (Trellis 315425) who was friendly, giving good tips for use and care and just a pleasure to be around. He did a stellar job! Absolutely love our blinds! Definitely would recommend.

UPDATED - Disappointing communication, but eventually resolved
I was referred to Hillarys by a friend, but unfortunately my experience became frustrating due to delays and communication issues. It took weeks to receive the blind, and after installation I had to repeatedly chase for support when I realised it wasn't properly blackout.
There were several occasions where I was told I would receive an update but heard nothing, and I eventually had to escalate the issue to Hillarys Customer Service.
UPDATE
I do want to update my original review fairly. The advisor eventually came back for a morning service visit, apologised for the communication issues and was very kind and helpful. He made adjustments to the blind and it now seems much better. I still need to monitor it on a brighter morning to confirm the blackout issue is completely resolved.
My main feedback to Hillarys would be around advisor availability and support. My impression is that advisors may simply be managing too much. Having more advisors, or better cover when someone is unavailable, could prevent customers from having to repeatedly chase for updates.
I'm glad the issue has now been addressed and appreciate the support I eventually received.

Shitters
I am happy with my shutters but I am disappointed that the three front window shutters are all not the same. To me they should all look the same or similar on the front of a house. Philip was a lovely man and cleaned up well after himself and friendly.

Stay Away from this Company!
I placed an order for a wooden venetian blind on May 20th this year. I was charged €350 and had to pay the full amount upfront. I then waited 6 weeks for delivery only to find the wrong blind had been sent. The advisor returned that blind and I was told it would be another 6 weeks before I would receive the right one. I didn't realise until then that Hillarys are a UK company and that all their blinds are manufactured in the UK. The advisors that come to your home are on a self employed basis with them. I waited the 6 weeks again for the replacement only to find the wrong blind had been sent from the UK again!!!
I couldn't believe what was going on and decided to try to contact their office here in Ireland. I was not getting any straight answers from them as to what was going on. After several enquires I was told that even though I had picked my blind from their sample chart they could not supply me with it.
At this point I requested a full refund. It took me weeks and many phone calls to get my money back. At one point I was told 3 managers had to authorise the refund and one of the managers was UK based. I finally received my refund which appeared in my bank account without any communication, confirmation or apology from Hillarys themselves. I can honestly say this has been the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I have since dealt with an Irish company and the same blind is half the price Hillarys charged me.
Be aware before you part with your money to Hillarys.

Cheap looking supposed to be a black…
Cheap looking supposed to be a black out roller blind for a small window 156€. I wasn’t asked what kind of chain i would prefer and a cheap white plastic chain was placed .
Big gap between the window and the window frame which does not make it a blackout roller blind.
Next time i will get same quality roller blind if not better from Jysk for 15 euros.
