I love the clothing. I’m actually wearing a top now that is probably for lounging, but I sleep, wake, & spend the day in their clothing. It has been a wonderful website for me.

I purchased a samue which I thought was made in Japan. It was actually made in China - even though the design may have been done in Japan. The quality of the fabric was low and it developed many problems such as tears and scrapes.

The shorts I have purchased from Himoriwabi Couture are excellent. Great product and excellent service at a fair price

The samue I ordered is badly tailored - the knotted ties on the top are placed too high, and put uncomfortable pressure on my ribcage. The elastic pant cuffs are uncomfortably tight. Whatever the stretchy fabric is (and I don't believe it's 100% cotton), it creates so much friction on the sheets that it's hard to roll over or move in bed.

Adding insult to injury, Himoriwabicouture specifically excludes clothing from there return policy - "because, COVID."

Attention after sales service problem.
They refuse product returns and therefore refunds for size problems but I imagine it's the same if the product doesn't fit.
I paid twice for the same product and now I don't have a contact person! No one answer my email

pay attention it is a fraud Company. we did never receive the Samui II ordered and from mid September they are postponing the arrival date saying the parcel has been lost and re sent. but this is not true. and when we said we want reimbursement they disappeared!

Ordered on 9/8/2021. It is now 11/23/2021. They advertise from "a small corner shop in Japan." I have all the tracking info, carriers and I speak Mandarin. This is from Donguan, China. Their business license is out of Singapore as "computer software" The Samue still has not arrived after 3 months. Make sure you have all your emails and contact your credit card company and start the chargeback process. I'd also hit their IG and Facebook accounts to expose this business before more people are scammed.

Terrible quality made in China product that is different than what is advertised. Will not respond to customer service requests. Total scam.

Poor quality, made in China. Worth $20 at most

I ordered the Samui II pajamas...
Pros: Super comfy and lightweight, they actually live up to what is stated in the ad.
Cons: I only got to wear them about 6 times before the fabric ripped in the crotch.

The first info you see on Himoriwabi couture website is "Himoriwabi - Experience Luxurious Comfort From Japan". I picked up the package on the post office today, it was not sent from Japan at all, it was from China. The very expensive pajamases was 'no brand', you can not even tell front or back on the trousers. The first thing I had to to was to cut off loose therads. The packing, presentation and product did in no way seem or feel like a quality Japanese product. I am quite sure that the Chinese people produces lots of products that are top quality, but I do not think this product is one of them. Lying about the origin is seldom a good start. My tip to the company: Why not market a quality Chinese pajamas instead? Surely your proud heritage of crafts and arts should be indicative of your ability to produce actual quality products. We already know the Japanese can, can you do it too? Becase if you can not, the way you act now hurts your countrys reputation. And since China is a brutal police state with a government prone to act like a kindergarten bully, I do not think anyone wants the negative attetion of your regime. I advice you to clean up your act.
