Don, thank you for your feedback. It sounds like there may have been some confusion regarding the installation of this product. The item you ordered is a hinge pin door stop, rather than a hinge. To install it, the existing hinge pin is removed, the door stop is positioned on the hinge, and the hinge pin is then reinserted to secure it in place.

We apologize for any inconvenience. We typically will send you a selection and we do have many filters on the left hand side which filter by size specifically. Not sure where we went wrong here, but we do appreciate your business.

We make every effort to provide detailed product information on HingeOutlet.com, including photos showing the exact hole pattern, dimensions, specifications, and other details to help customers select the correct hinge before ordering. Based on what you described, it appears the hinges ordered did not match the hole pattern you needed, and they were returned to us for a refund.

We also want to clarify that while we do use AI to help provide faster service, we have a real customer service team based in Indiana that is available to assist with product questions and order issues.
