I made a mistake on my initial online policy, and to be honest I was confused by the trading name as opposed to insured name. When I called insurance.com.au they were very helpful so I was pleased

The onboarding process should be much…
The onboarding process should be much quicker. Website is blocked outside Australia which is ridiculous, it's 2026, many people travel, work remotely, sure we can get VPN (and some cant!) but this shouldn't be the issue. Links expire in 24h, we're busy, not everyone will tend to it in that time. Then you gotta go back and ask same thing again. just makes the whole process longer and more frustrating!
the price was a bit more than what I expected.
Other than that, everything was pretty straightforward.

TERRIBLE + UNTRUSTWORTHY
TERRIBLE - NO stars - SHOCKING
This company is not trustworthy.
I organised professional indemnity insurance with this company. I had my first case ever. This company left me unsupported - literally sent me an email stating "find your own lawyer and we will reimburse you". The insurers then repeatedly got their administration to defer answering my concerns, especially in light of my policy.
I was in shock.
Their admin are nice. Yet to be honest, kind admin, no legal team during a case. Forget it.
I had been with them for about 6 years. Yet I guess the trustworthiness of a company can only truly be revealed when you actually need them.

Renewal from overseas
As I was on my overseas holiday at the time of renewal, I had to call rather than just filling the form. The person that took my call was efficient in verifying my identity, reason for call and taking the payment. Calling from overseas was not cheep so I was grateful that she didn't waste any of time, and still very professional
