Irish School of Motoring - ISM Avis 

Recently completed my lessons with Sarah and couldn’t fault her from start to finish, she goes above and beyond to get you to the best of your ability. She was so kind , friendly and supportive throughout the whole time and id highly recommend her as an instructor , for her professionalism & patience throughout.

Worst experience with them . I booked my pretest lesson in drogheda ,their rates were higher compared to others in drogheda. Paid 110€ and the old guy jad no clue what he is here for. Conor was the name of tge guy it was an hour before my test and i wanted to cry. Useless and clueless. Finished lesson 20 mints prior to the time and i didnt ask to continue as i know its the waste. Payment was made in advance. If you dont want to waste your hard earned money dont go with conor. He should retire now. I was only asking him can we do 3 points turn or reverse and roundabouts,he seemed like he was there to just sit in the car for nothing. Wish i could complain and get refund

Fantastic driving instructor. Really helped me right all my bad habits. Very patient and encouraging. Would highly recommend for any first time driver

After failing my first test I felt very discouraged but I decided to do a few additional lessons and pre-tests. When I reached out to Sarah she was incredibly attentive and helped me work through the issues I was struggling with. Her calm approach and advice made a real difference. Thanks to her support I passed on my second attempt!

I had the most amazing experience learning drive, as i was really nervous driver but my instructor Sarah Burke did an amazing job at teaching and helping me build confidence in my own driving skills!!!

I have just passed my test first time after doing lessons with Saad. He was extremely patient, helpful and accommodating. He clearly explained everything so it was easy for me to understand and to correct my mistakes. I highly recommend Saad to anyone looking for a great instructor to complete their lessons with.

From having a bad experience with a previous instructor from ism , being very impatient and unpleasant towards me, I got a new instructor Saad Ahmed , and he was so patient with me and helped me pass my test first time. I would recommend to anyone he is very calm and helpful .

My instructor Sarah Burke was very easy to be in the car with, she was very patient and taught me lots of skills and techniques about safe driving. I would have no hesitation to recommending her to anybody.

I did my 12 EDT lessons with Sarah, Mars driving school. I had already learned how to drive before taking them, and thought I couldnt lose bad habits but I did. She is very patient, very informative and I will return to her when need extra lessons for when I have my driving test. Highly recommended. Thanks again Sarah.

I chose ISM for their glowing reviews, but unfortunately didn't have the best experience. Booking my lessons was with the team in the office was great, they were friendly and accommodating.

My experience with my driving instructor was not great. They would shout at me while I was driving which created a really uncomfortable environment. They would also use their phone to text other students about bookings multiple times. It lead me to lose my confidence while driving.

I done all 12 lessons with my instructor Saad Ahmed. From the start to the very end Saad was calm, patient and friendly making my learning smooth and enjoyable. He explained things so well ensuring I understood what it was I had to do at all times. I just passed my test this morning, my first try, and i’m so thankful for Saad and all his guidance. We done a 2 hour pretest and it really stood to me! Thank you so much again for all the help and I would 100% recommend driving with ISM!

I recently completed my remaining lessons with Sarah from Mars Driving School and I have to say she was absolutely amazing. Sarah was so patient and kind even in stressful and tough situations. Sarah took the time to explain everything throughly! Sarah is very easy to talk to about the stress and nerves of driving and she is extremely positive! I can’t recommend her enough! Sarah is someone who goes above and beyond for her students!

I did my CPC module with Francis on Tuesday and I have to say he was fantastic. Some of the instructors would be boring and put u a sleep but Francis maclarin was the best by far.he well informed the class and had us all interacting with each other. Well done keep up the good work. Cheers .

I did my ADI Cat B training with ISM in 2025/26 and had Dave Malone as my instructor throughout the process. Dave has a wealth of training experience and knowledge about the different tests and imparts this in a clear and client oriented manner. The syllabus covered everything I was tested on, and Dave's attention to detail and demanding approach meant I was able pass all three stages first time. I would highly recommend Dave and ISM.

I have just finished all 12 of my lessons with Sarah and I had a great experience! She is patient and kind and I felt more and more confident after every lesson! I’m looking forward to booking my test and getting some practice lessons in with her in the future

It is my pleasure to have Dave Malone as my CADI, instructor. His hardworking and honesty with his profession is really remarkable, and highly recommended.

My son recently did 2x2hr pre-test with a man called Aidan Berney he was amazing his feedback wS 10 out of 10 beside my son being a very good driver I honestly dob believe that the guidance and confidence Aidan had in him is a massive part of why he passesd I would highly recommend Aidan we are in the Louth area
