Absolutely massive
Really massive gym with a bonkers amount of equipment. Classes are really good too and there are lots of them. The shower is horrible, have to push a button to use, no temperature control and no where to put you clothes in the shower stall. For £20 a month it's an absolute bargain though and I'll shower at home.

GYM TEMPERATURE UNCOMFORTABLE
The gym before it has a cool/warmer temperature and I am comfortable to wear my gym clothes now it’s cold even in the studio. There’s no difference the outdoor freezing temperature.

Abandoned place nobody supervising nobody to help or guide you with exercises etc
No help no supervision no feedback extremely dark inside etc....

JD Gym Wester Hailes
The gym is well stocked and is busy but there is plenty of room between machines for it not to feel claustrophobic. The variety of machines and free weight areas means there is always available areas.

Gym equipment is excellent
Gym equipment is excellent, all fine, but jd gym also offers yoga class and here l have found a huge problem. First of all yoga teacher never showed up, there where no proper yoga equipment, was very cold in studio and noisy from the gym. I was very disappointed with yoga.

Plenty of space even when busy
The gym is massive providing plenty of equipment for everyone. Easy to park and get into.

Great gym, especially love the squat racks and the lighting round them! Really help get me in my zone! Could improve and be stricter on members leaving weights around

Trying to get entry into the Gym but access code was not working and have to call out a Gym staff to allow me in
I have tried to walk in the gym but my access was denied and I have to get a instructors to allow me in

We are moving to QR code access at our gyms so our members can access contact free, however if you do have any problems accessing the app, please feel free to speak to the General Manager at the Edinburgh gym the next time you visit and they can help with your access going forward or drop your gym an email if you can’t see a manager to speak to 👍
