Great Harness

I can see how adding leds to the new…
I can see how adding leds to the new harness design is appealing from a saftey design , what I am not completely thrilled with is the clasping mechanism of the new harness it isn't as good, as our previous version it sticks and is hard to clasp, and if you have a jumping jellybean of a pup like us makes for a harder mount and dismount.

My dog absolutely loves her harness!
My dog absolutely loves her harness! Or should I say harnesses? She has more than one to go with the season. She knows that when her harness comes out it's time for a walk, and her harness is so much more comfortable than her martingale collar. There have been times when she won't let me take it off, so she sleeps with it on! Best of all, her harness is constructed so well that I know that she can't get loose while she is wearing it. I highly recommend Joyride Harnesses. ❤️

Lousy design and poor customer service…
Lousy design and poor customer service on the lighted harness! It is very difficult to charge and the cable split apart from struggling with insertion. When I alerted joyride of this they called it uncovered wear and tear. will no longer buy from this company!

Please check out the photos of the Joy Ride harness. My Great Dane “Hector”ripped apart the harness and ran off. It is not durable for a strong dog. I was denied any replacement.
Company does not care about their customers and useless harness that tore apart. Photos of damaged harness will not upload in the area provided below.

This is my second Joyride Harness. First one I bought is still in great condition, we decided to have one at the front and back door. Holds my Bully perfectly, gives me great control, and is comfortable for my boy.

The worst customer service
The worst customer service. Would not recommend this company to my dog owner friends.
Was in the hospital from surgery when the 60 day return window occurred and although they asked me to send a picture of the unused harness they still refused to allow me to return it.

great, but not for dachshunds
I first learned of Joyride harnesses from Jude, a small-to-medium sized dog that I dogsat before getting my own pup. His harness fit well and made walks easy. I especially like the multiple metal leash loops for different kinds of walks and the quick one-snap, easy-on/easy-off feature. Then I rescued a 14-pound dachshund mix. The harness was just as rugged as the bigger ones (though maybe not as necessary?), well-made, and all. But a doxie has a long back with short legs, so after a while I noticed Ellie was balding at her elbows and underarms and the snap closure, which could not be tightened any more, was getting in the way of her stride. I learned that dachshunds really needed the chest piece to go further toward her belly than the Joyride Harness does.

Worst customer experience ever!
Boy, what went right is a better question. The harness clearly has a design flaw where the (huge) buckle hits the poor dog on the elbow as they are walking. My 14 year old dog could barely walk in it. When I tried to get a refund, I kept getting pointed to their refund link which doesn't give a refund if labels are not still on the harness. I've only had these harnesses less than a week! They say they'll give an in-store credit, but if the product doesn't fit - why would I want an in-store credit???
AND... there is no customer support phone number. Totally ridiculous - the whole thing. I'm out $100 for harnesses I can't use.
