Great service from Josh, kept me informed of the delivery from Scott bikes and scheduled delivery on the date requested to account for holidays. Fed-Ex damaged the shipping box but due to the way the bike had been packed it was undamaged. Top marks all round🙂

Brilliant service. Due to accident I needed to get a replacement race bike pretty quickly. Josh was really helpful, knew exactly the right questions to ask and got me the spec of bike I wanted built. Any questions I had were answered quickly, and I was kept updated with delivery times etc. Icing on the cake is having the bike hand delivered in their own van even though I'm over 300 miles away from the store.

I was fortunate to have dealt with Josh and Chris from Js and they were very knowledgeable and helpful to all of my purchasing experience. They were also particularly forthcoming with their communication of which packages could be most appealing from a cost/benefit perspective and call backs plus the delivery service was top notch for a new high spec bike. The set up was also very pleasing via measurements and translation to the mechanics with very little to adjust at the receiving end. This would have been a 5 star review had it not been for a stock level/description discrepancy that led to some confusion about the spec of the wheels available rather than any slight on the performance of the selling team. Thought I’d just need to make this review because the shop assistant was really nice went out his way to help me rang up js cycles to check if the met Trent 3k carbon helmet was in stock yes all in stock and so I ordered it so fast the delivery packaged really well and on my sofa by 2.30pm next day great service from you guys went above and beyond my next bike I feel now from you guys thanks for the helmet arrived very happy

I was in the market for a decent spec’ EMTB and did the rounds at the usual ‘big box’ stores with no success. I also visited some of the more ‘snooty’ (if you get my meaning) stores in Sheffield - again with no success.

Having discovered J’s Cycles on the web it was a great experience from the minute we walked in (the bike was a present from my wife). The guys did us a very fair ‘deal’ as I wasn’t buying on finance or the cycle-to-work scheme. The bike was prepped within an hour and everyone was super (super) helpful.

However, after a week my bike developed a fault with air leaking from the forks and they would have to go back to the manufacturer which could take two weeks or so to remedy.

Did I have to do without my (fantastic) bike for two long weeks? No, the guys took my faulty forks out and put a set of temporary FOX shocks in my bike so I could continue to use it.

Whilst it was disappointing that my forks developed an issue it was not the fault of J’s Cycles. The way the guys at the shop turned a disappointing issue into a great experience is testament to their commitment to customer service.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but in summary I would say that if you want anything to do with bicycles just go and see these guys - simple as.

The whole customer experience couldn’t have been improved . I bought a Thule bike rack which was cheaper than competitors and looks excellent but it was just too heavy for me to manoeuvre alone . The returns process could have been a nightmare but Josh was so kind, helpful and understanding ( organising the whole process from their end ) that it was seamless . I also really appreciated personal phone contact rather than email and WhatsApp contact makes any general queries really easy . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a first choice for bike gear . Excellent company to have the pleasure of doing business with. I placed an order for a bike and was aware there was a wait on it coming into store. A few weeks later I received a phone call updating me that the bike was delayed by a few days and when they would be expecting it.

On the day the bike arrived I received a call from a lovely guy advising me that my bike had arrived and courteously asking when would be a suitable time to receive delivery of the bike. My bike arrived promptly the following day well packaged and as described. The staff have been extremely helpful and polite would definitely not hesitate to give them my business again in the future.

Take no notice of the negative reviews, you are bound to have some bad experiences with mechanical issues with all modern day bikes. This also goes for “delayed” or “missed” contact forms when you are as busy as James and the whole team are at J’s cycles. I’ve bought numerous cycles from J’s and never had an issue that wasn’t my fault. When these issues have occurred I have taken into the shop and the guys and Ash at my local have bent over backwards to have the bike back operating. This isn’t your typical bike shop it’s a dying breed of shop, not your mainstream franchise stores where you mean nothing. Buy with utter confidence, the lads will not steer you wrong 👍

There was a hiccup with the delivery on 2 shifters I had ordered, but Josh rectified it immediately and despatched the parts on a next day post as promised. The shifters were all Shimano originals and at a great price nobody else could beat. Hats off to these guys. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

Josh and the team couldn't have been any more helpful, knowledgeable and patient in the process of my purchasing a Pinarello Dogma X from J's Cycles.

The custom spec bike arrived today, perfectly assembled with every detail as per the agreed spec, and ready to ride. The route to purchase included a bike fit - not only to size me up for the new one, but also tweaked my existing bike as well.

I don't have much "bike smarts" however Josh took the time to answer my many, many emails of questions until I felt confident I was making the right choices for me - including accomodating a few changes of mind on my part!

I highly recommend this company. Josh consistently exceeds expectations. I will definitely be returning for more bike gear and services in the future.

Recently bought a Lapierre new road bike from Josh at J’s Cycles. He was really helpful from the outset and nothing was too much trouble. He even managed to get the bike prepped and ready really quickly for me on a Friday afternoon, even though it had only arrived in stock with them at lunch time that same day.
