J’s Cycles was founded in 2014 by a group of passionate cyclists with the aim of bringing premium brand products to local riders with industry leading service through people with real life cycling experience and passion for bikes. Now shipping products from a variety of fitness brands to customers worldwide whilst still retaining the passion for the product and the people we had on that very first day. Operating out of two retail stores and a showroom we now offer an abundance of multi-sport products along with cycle workshop services, specialist bike fitting and after sales. Our small, but dedicated team, learn, analyse and hand pick each product before offering them for sales.

I recently purchased a road bike from this company, although I had a good idea of what I was looking for after hours of research on YouTube, having not ridden a bike for a long time I was unsure on size. I contacted them on whatsapp and after a few conversations with Josh I made the purchase. The bike arrived 2 days later and now having ridden it a few times I have found the love for cycling again! Couldn't ask for better service, Thank you Josh & Team!
They don't reply!
I sent them messages twice on their "Contact us" page and no reply. If they won'y get in touch for sales I can only assume the after sales would be even worse.

Brilliant experience start to finish.
Ordered a Scott triathlon bike. Josh called me to discuss spec options the following Saturday and gave me a fair timescale for delivery. Bike came in early, they prioritised the build, and hand delivered by James the following day.

I placed an order for a ski helmet on October 8th, but the item still hasn’t arrived. I requested a refund, but haven’t received any response. I would recommend avoiding this company.
When a negative becomes a positive.
I had a few issues with a bike purchased from J's Cycles. One was an initial confusion on spec and one was a breakage. These things happen and on both occasions, J's solved my issues (with the help of the manufacturer) above and beyond my expectations. I can't thank them enough for sorting things out really well. I will certainly use them again.

I called in because I’d lost a fixing…
I called in because I’d lost a fixing off my rear mudguard. They took my bike off me and promptly fixed it and then didn’t charge me much at all. Really friendly and confident staff. I will definitely be back. I would be completely confident to ask them to carry out major work on my bike.
Staff really helpful
Staff really helpful. They were able to explain the sales process for finance. Any time I was on the phone with them they were always very pleasant, got my bike today, really well packaged to avoid damage during delivery.
I now wouldn’t look anywhere else.

Shocking service from the start and lies.
Shocking service from the start. Bike crank came apart within first few miles of first ride and wouldn't tighten back on, I contacted js cycles and they collected the next week to repair, after waiting nearly a week and having no contact from them I phoned and was told they were taking it to workshop that afternoon. I phoned again the next day and was told it was repaired and would be delivered on Monday, I asked what the problem was but Kev couldn't tell me. Monday came and went but no bike and no phone call, I spoke to Kev again but he couldn't tell me why they hadn't delivered bike or phoned me but he said it would be delivered Wednesday, again bike wasn't delivered and no phone call. Phoned shop again and spoke to Josh who said he didn't know anything about it and couldn'tell me why it wasn't delivered or no phone call, which is surprising as he's the operations manager. Josh couldn't tell me why they failed yet again but did tell me the damaged part was beyond repair. I said I wanted a refund and it got worse from there, josh messed me around getting a refund and decided to refund me by cheque even though I'd paid directly when I asked josh why he used a cheque he lied and denied it until I said PayPal had told me and it would take 30 days to clear, then josh admitted refunding me by cheque. I eventually managed to get a bank transfer 2 weeks after asking for a refund. Shockingly bad service and even worse lying to me when trying to get a refund.
I would urge everyone to avoid Js cycle shack.

Really disorganised. Long wait even though they knew we had booked. Wouldn’t even let us use the bathrooms during the long wait.

I recently bought a Pinarello bike from J’s Cycles, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, guiding me through the different options for both the bike and accessories, the quality of all items is outstanding. The customer service was exceptional, making the entire purchasing process smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this bike shop to anyone in the market for a new bike or cycling gear. I ordered a Scott mountain bike for myself, really good price and although there was a small delay to the delivery they phoned me to apologize and rearrange. The bike was very well packaged. Really pleased with it and would definitely use this company again.

Price matched and order complete in minutes
Spoke to one of the guys at J’s cycles about wanting to order 2 kids bikes for Christmas and that whilst one of them was the cheapest I could find the other wasn’t. I was asked to send over a link to where I’d seen the bike cheaper and within no time at all I’d had an email stating that the price on their site had been changed to match what I’d found elsewhere. Excellent service and this meant I could order the 2 bikes from one shop, very fast and polite. Recommend 👍
Highly recommended and understated
I contacted J's Cycleshack via email in relation to a bike I was interested in to find out lead time. I hadn't come across them before and previously went direct to Pinarello for my last bike. In short, this led to an order being placed very quickly via the Ride to Work scheme and the level of professionalism, guided support and proficiency was of the highest order. Thanks to Chris and Josh who I dealt with but also to all the team. Picked up my new Scott Foil RC yesterday. I truly wish the company the full success it deserves.
Customer satisfaction top priority
I ordered a pro4 fortus 30 front wheel from Jcycle shack hope decided they didnt want to make the pro4 wheel so there sending out a pro 5 ofcourse i have no complaints but this came with a wait as i had to wait the lovely people at jcycle shack decided to throw in a free tyre for me great customer service obviously the wait wasnt there fault but still they took the initiative to satisfy me as a customer and for that i couldnt be more greatful i highly recommend them i will definitely be a returning customer.
Good gear
Great to work with! Talked me through size of bike and swapped in extra Ultegra parts on my Super Six Evo. Highly recommend if you are wanting to build a bike and make it your own. Good gear!

Impressed by the service
Visited their Knottingley workshop to diagnose and repair an electrical fault on a newish Cannondale. I didn't buy the bike from them but was impressed with the service. They had a look straight away, then called the UK distributer to get more technical support and resolved the issue in short order. Good to know people like this exist.
