An excellent key safe, does exactly as advertised. The compartment size is sufficent to accommodate my safe keys which are longer than normal lever lock keys. What more could you ask.
Peace of mind and satisfied my home insurance in purchasing the police preferred safe. It was well received, it's robust and came with parts for installation. Easy to fix.
Very robust key safes - but good tools needed for fitting… Self-tapping screws are VERY tight in a 5mm hole - needed to use a 30m Torx socket on a socket wrench to get them in. One sheared off. Tha... Voir plus

Hi Phil,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’ve checked the order number provided, and this relates to your order with us for a **C500 Pro Key Safe**.
As the ABUS 10/30 lock mentioned in your review isn’t a product supplied by The Key Safe Company, it looks like this review may have been intended for a different company.
We’re pleased to hear you had a positive experience with your purchase, but you may wish to leave this feedback with the company you purchased the ABUS lock from so they receive your comments.

If you’re serious about security…
Watching a Mark McCann You Tube video with my grandsons, I was horrified by how easily a pair of burglars broke open a key “safe” exactly like that on my wall and walked into the house. The box was about as effective as a plant pot in terms of security.
I went straight onto Google and looked up a real key safe and the Key Safe Company came up, selling the ark Tamo. At a little under £130 it is more expensive than the key boxes widely available but a massive jump in build quality. It also has built in illumination; useful as it is in a dark space.
The order was placed on the Monday evening and the box was delivered by DPD on the Wednesday morning. It was easy to fit, needing to just a drill and a large Torx screwdriver.
This might seem a lot to pay for a safe key storage but not when considered in terms of what you could lose..

We’re especially pleased you’ve found the built-in illumination useful, that installation was straightforward and that your order arrived quickly. As you’ve highlighted, when choosing a key safe it’s important to consider not only the price, but the level of security protecting the key to your home.

Strong and secure
I was amazed at how heavy the ark Tamo is - presumably proof of its strength. I had previously owned a cheaper type of keysafe but decided to replace it when worrying about its safety. When we removed it to install the Tamo I could see the huge difference in size between the fixing screws of the old one and this one.
It was straightforward to set up my new 8-digit code (better than the 4-digit one on the old keysafe), and it's easy to operate.
I feel safer at night now.

The parcel had been damaged in transit and was taped up. The parcel contained the key safe and another item not associated with what was ordered. Presume stuffed in when parcel had split open.

Réponse de The Key Safe Company
Hi Trevor,
We’re very sorry to hear that your parcel arrived damaged and had been taped up during transit. This certainly isn’t how we would expect your order to arrive, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
We use DPD for our deliveries, and from what you’ve described, it appears the parcel may have been damaged during transit and repacked before delivery, which could explain the unrelated item being inside.
We hope the key safe itself arrived safely and undamaged. If there are any issues with your order, please do get in touch with our Customer Service team so we can investigate this with DPD and assist further.
