Do not buy Kip&Co products if you have children or pets
I bought the most beautiful bedding from Kip&Co, I'd wanted it for AGES! I spent $478 on a quilt cover, fitted sheet and 2 pillowcases which was such a treat. Within a very short time of having it, my 3 year old wet his bed and crawled into my bed in the middle of the night with damp pants - we were up by 630am when I realised his pants were damp, so I stripped and washed our bedding.
The quilt cover faded during that time that he was in our bed. I emailed Kip&Co to ask what we could do as I'd owned them for just over a month and had been away for 15 days of that time, they said they couldn't do anything as it had been left for a period of time.
It was literally the middle of the night, would have been perhaps 5 hours maximum - my Kmart and Target bedding has never, ever, ever done this, and it's less than a 6th of the price of this premium, high end bedding.
In their care instructions it says to not leave bedding damp in the machine, so what they expect you to do if this happens is get up in the middle of the night and wash your bedding, then use a tumble dryer at a low temperature to dry it, which for my dryer would take over 3 hours - essentially you need to stay awake for the rest of the night to make sure no damage is done to your bedding, all because you have a child who has wet their own bed and climbed into yours with damp pants.
Bedding which is not life friendly.
It also has absolutely nothing on their website saying anything about how you shouldn't buy this bedding if you have children or pets where anything like this might happen.
I could not be more disappointed in this experience, and the fact that my quilt cover is now totally faded in one spot - and it's not a small spot.
I very highly do not recommend Kip&Co or their bedding products, unless you live alone and don't ever share your bed with anyone or anything. You will be much better off shopping anywhere else, literally anywhere else.
I have attached a photo of my faded bedding, the info on their website which they will probably edit to include this information now, and part of our conversation so you can see their excuses.
Very disappointing, upsetting, and such a waste.
