We applied for a property and paid a…
We applied for a property and paid a holding deposit. Throughout the process, we contacted Leaders several times by email and phone to clarify the move-in date. This was essential because we are required to give at least one month’s notice to our current landlord, and we clearly explained that we could not risk paying rent on two properties in the same month.
Despite repeated attempts, we received no clear confirmation about when we could move in. As time passed and we were left with no option but to withdraw from the application to avoid financial loss. Leaders then informed us that the holding deposit would be retained, stating that tenancy application offer has been cancelled subject to contract and references without acknowledging their lack of response or clarification.
This is especially disappointing as we previously enquired about another Leaders property, which was also cancelled after initial confirmation.
Overall, this experience felt unfair and unprofessional and not what we expected from a well-known and established company. Clear communication and transparency were missing throughout the process.
I would advise others to be very cautious and ensure everything is confirmed in writing before paying a holding deposit.

Calls she has taken off my hands includes speaking to the Council about Rates between tenancies and HMO licenses. All tough stuff! Other matters handling tenant expectations and chasing for rent have been handled with a smile and great communication by phone or email. 5 Star service.

Excellent, above and beyond service from Ffion our property manager
Ffion has been our property manager for 3 of our properties (9 tenants) for over a year. Ffion manages the property with efficiency, problem solving and nothing is too much. She has resolved problems including unusual and unique issues in relation to tenants with professionalism and empathy. She identifies appropriate contractors and when necessary ensuring prompt attendance for emergency call outs as well routine visits. Tries to come up with solutions before even contacting us as landlords. Ffion liaises with other departments in Leaders to problem solved etc. providing an efficient service from Leaders. She is definitely an asset to Leaders from a landlords perspective and the best property manager we have had in 24 years as landlords.

Excellent customer service
I had an unexpected repair over the bank holiday weekend. Luckily I contacted leaders the following day, and Maddie was fantastic. She sorted it out quickly and efficiently. Not only did she put my worries at ease, she made sure that I was compensated in less that a week.
