No customer service
I have twice tried to set up an onboarding session. The first time the trainer didn’t schedule the agreed upon event, she said she had a family emergency. The second time my response to the trainers email has yet to be answered.

Your time keeping is great. Your invoices are the worst I have ever had at 3 firms and 4 programs. They make no sense, and make me look like a moron to my clients. You use a "Keleven". My whole office agrees.

I had a problem entering funds received into our Trust Account; I used the "instant messaging" to chat with someone and she was able to resolve my issue quickly and easily

So true! Karen, thanks for the review. A main reason why attorneys love LeanLaw is due to its deep integration with QuickBooks Online, with QBO as the source of truth. All data is live in REAL TIME -- takes so much guessing and tension out of the equation. LeanLaw customer support is our super power. So glad it's working for you.

Chat works
I received help through the chat platform and then had a video call. I was unsure of the process initially, but I believe I received good and helpful responses through both methods. Also, the LL representative, Melissa, was patience, attentive, and thoughtful in her responses which allowed me to reach my solution in an efficient manner.

Highly recommend this software and the support!
Heather was very responsive to my initial inquiry about the software. She also spent time with me by telephone showing me features in response to my specific questions. I was sold. We then worked out the cost of the product and made the purchase. This all happened in a couple of days.
Heather then set me up with Tracie, a LeanLaw coach who showed me features in response to my specific questions. She gave me some set-up assignments and then reviewed what I had done to reassure me things were entered correctly.
In short order I am now ready to perform my first monthly invoicing with LEDES capability.
The software is logical and easy to use and the support is fabulous.

Thanks for the review, George. LeanLaw aims to have a clean user interface for legal billing software. The accounting folks work in QuickBooks. And the law firm staff work In LeanLaw. Everyone is looking at the same data in real time. Makes it easy.
No real customer support
There is very little support for the software. Some issues in communication with QBO require conversation and not a chat or a link to the learning center. We have been using the software for around 3 years.

Lean Law is excellent
Lean Law is excellent. We initially purchased QuickBooks for Lawyers. Totally unworkable. LL makes working with QBO super easy by doing all the work necessary to 'talk' to QB. The program itself is very easy to use and they have done all the work to make it talk to QBO. The LL team is professional, friendly, responsive; actually ask for feedback on what works and what we need. Thank you Lean Law!
