Moving is usually stressful because companies love tacking on extra charges for tape, mattress bags, or long carries once they have your stuff. Lifetime Movers gave us a flat rate breakdown upfront, and that was exactly what we paid upon delivery. Will recommend them to friends.

From the beginning, LifeTime Movers(LM) treated me like family. With only a small load, (<300 cubic feet) I went with Lifetime Movers to get my stuff from Illinois to Colorado. LM was not the cheapest ( I have learned after 69 years price is not the best measure of a service). THEIR ONLINE RATINGS MADE UP MY MIND. Everything arrived in perfect shape. Everyone involved in the LM process was courteous, intelligent and helpful. When a minor glitch came up, the owner personally got involved and fixed it right away! Exceptional moving company. Highly recommended!!!

The dispatch called me about 20 minutes before the window to let me know traffic on the bridge delayed the truck by half an hour. Once the three movers got to our place, they wasted zero time and loaded the entire two bedroom apartment in under three hours. Very polite guys.

My overall experience was positive. I had to move from Chicago to Dallas, Texas and trusting someone with my belongings was no easy task, especially glass items to ensure nothing was broken. Of course, I will have to fully unpack things but I could tell when they moved me out of my storage to bringing my things inside my home in Texas, they cared about my things. I separated some belongings in my house and some in my garage and they took the time to ensure everything was organized. I will forever me grateful. I am glad this move is over but would certainly recommend them as I just moved from Chicago last week and already have my items which has made me feel so much better. Thank you Sergio and team!

Lifetime movers sent out a 3 person crew who were very respectful and diligent. They also worked well together and communicated with us in an effective way. They were in and out in 3 hours (2 bed 2 bath apartment). It’s my first time using movers, and with it being long distance there was ample opportunity for confusion and anxiety. However this company has done well to lessen the stress of my cross country move.

Team was amazing, on time and super nice. Would recommend using them; can't express how hard they work from start to finish.

The "binding" estimate that I received a month before the move increased nearly 30% two days before my move even though nothing changed. When I called to complain I was told "the computer must have miscalculated" and rather than honoring the "binding" estimate, I was told my only option was to cancel the move and find new movers. Shady. The actual guys doing the moving, however, were great.

The crew work fast and handled the furnitures carefully.

The movers were experienced and extremely efficient, carefully wrapping all my furniture and loading it onto the truck in no time! The same held true upon arriving at my new place. I was impressed by how fast the team set things up for me. I should also mention how nice the guys were - you could tell by how well they worked together. I highly recommend them!

Both the men were great. It was 95 degrees and they took the time to wrap/cover and prep every piece of furniture. I’m confident everything will arrive safe and sound.

I chose Lifetime Movers because I wanted to support a local company and was reassured by their positive reviews and repeated promises. I provided detailed measurements, photos, and descriptions of my storage unit and was quoted 400 cubic feet with a “binding” estimate. I was also told my furniture would be reassembled, my couch would be put back together, and my belongings would arrive by June 4.

Unfortunately, nearly every promise changed.

At pickup, my estimate suddenly increased from 400 to 550 cubic feet, resulting in additional charges despite their website advertising binding quotes with “no games.”

June 4 came and went with no delivery and no communication. I later learned my shipment had not even been assigned to a driver. After being told my route was “easy” during booking, I was then told it was difficult and that no carriers were available. Messages often went unanswered, and updates only came after I repeatedly reached out.

When my items finally arrived more than two weeks later, I received only a few hours’ notice instead of the promised 24-hour warning. I had to miss work and was unable to reserve my building’s loading dock.

The delivery experience raised even more concerns:
• The delivery company was subcontracted despite being told they do not contract out.
• Movers requested additional cash payments on site.
• Furniture legs had been removed, and my dresser arrived broken.
• None of my furniture was put back together for free, despite them taking it apart and advertising full-service moving.
• My couch was not assembled despite multiple assurances that it would be.
• Several items were damaged or broken upon unpacking.

Lifetime later acknowledged that I had been told my couch would be assembled and offered partial compensation. They also handled my broken nightstand appropriately by offering either a replacement or cash reimbursement and did apologize over the phone for how poorly the move had gone. However, when I declined offers of money in exchange for not leaving a review, the company shifted from apologizing to blaming me for the issues.

The biggest problems were not the delay or the damaged items. They were:
• Repeated promises that later changed.
• Poor communication.
• Contradictory information.
• Failure to provide promised services.
• Last-minute delivery notices.
• Unexpected charges.
• Lack of accountability.

Moving is stressful enough without weeks of uncertainty and constantly changing information.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because they handled the broken nightstand appropriately and did apologize for the poor service. Unfortunately, those positives do not outweigh the overall experience. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

The three movers did a great job. They explained everything and were very respectful.

LifeTime Movers is the best in the business. They work their tails off and more importantly they stay true to the quotes that they give you. Most companies hit you up with hidden charges the day of the move and put you on the spot. LifeTime Movers stays true to their word. I highly recommend them!
