A lot of effort for no return
Online order process was easy and straightforward. But on delivery we found the blinds were not the colour that we ordered. Customer service were great and sent a replacement. The replacement arrived but this time not only was the colour still wrong but also the wrong length and the wrong quantity. In the end they refunded us and suggested we make a new order. So all round a load of energy expended for no progress. We didn’t place another order. When reading the reviews of this company it’s hard to believe they’ve managed to stay in business for 150 years like to says on their website.

Unfortunately cannot leave a zero star review. Poor experience from the start. Had to chase the order as no update/delivery. Said lost in transit but no shipping info and suspect never sent. Second attempt did arrive. Wrong colour, virtually no protective packaging and damaged. Extremely poor quality fabric not at all suitable as a blind. Fabric completely off centre on the pole. Returned and they have not refunded shipping so out of pocket with nothing but hassle to show for it. Avoid at all costs.

On the other hand the reviews on company website are very positive.
Unfulfilled Orders
Not sure why they bother selling items they have no intention to supply. I made two orders over two weeks, both were simply ignored until I emailed them, to which I received the same identical email both times and an immediate refund.
Complete time wasters.

I wish I’d seen these reviews. Since Oct 20 I ordered and paid for 2 blinds. First one told not in stock, so ordered a longer one, refund took ages, then item lost in transit, then a second one was meant to be refunded (why not just send a replacement) these guys must be drop shipping- they don’t know where the stock is. It’s a shame because I’d taken a while to pick the item which would have really finished off the room nicely. Will go elsewhere now, taken far too much time and hassle to get NOTHING
Ordered a bind but not delivered
Ordered 2 blinds 09/10, received these 17/10, quality not grest but ok.
Ordered another blind through Amazon on 13/10, told this was delivered 17/10 but no blind received.
No help from LC feel let down and £56 out of pocket

I orderd 2 blinds made to messure from amazon from lister & cartwright thinking they were a reputable company, on the 5th October cost me over £100, never got them im now having to chase around trying to sort it all out, they said they were sent out but used royal mail for one and evri for the other one , why i don't know, im still waiting with no blinds at all disgusting I can't afford to lose this money im just hoping amazon will refund me but its a waiting game for me now
Terrible company
Terrible company, I don't actually know if they are real or fake. They didn't deliver my pillow and didn't refund it either. Got PayPal involved and they refunded it immediately.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TOTAL RIP OFF.
Awful customer services
Awful customer services, buy from elsewhere. first set of blinds arrived damaged, second set took weeks to arrive despite paying for fast shipping. Refused to refund, the customer services phone line is never answered and the emails just give us the run around.
Avoid
Avoid, seem like a really bizarre set up. Paid for a a blind to be cut to a custom size, didn’t hear anything for over a week, emailed to be told it had got wet in transit 🤣, they sent blind out but had bothered to cut to size. Now be awkward about return. I would not recommend going anywhere near this crowd!
Roller blind
Ordered from Lister Cartwright directly, brilliant service, arrived in 3 days, and the colours on the website are an excellent representation, as you see when you open the package. I ordered initially from Amazon, it got lost in the post, emailed Lister Cartwright, and they replaced my roller blind. Excellent service, highly recommend.
Incorrect width advertised.
Blinds are reasonable quality for the price. However, BEWARE they are not to dimensions advertised. The actual ones suppled are 87cm NOT 90cm wide. So come out at approx. 93cm over brackets.
Disappointing if you are fitting into recess.

I would avoid this company at all costs. No accountability from their side, as I have received a completely different curtain pole ring to the one shown on their website The website shows and states a curtain pole ring with a loop and plastic insert. I have received a ring with no insert and metal clips which attach to the top of the curtain. So far I have been unsuccessful in trying to claim a refund, I have been advised to "just remove the clip" which would leave me with just a curtain ring. Comedy gold.
I'm awaiting a final response before contacting trading standards.

No issues, great customer service
I ordered a blind and paid extra for 1-2 days delivery. I emailed them to check the blind wound definitely be delivered in that time scale and was told this wasn't possible, the blinds took longer than this to make. I asked for the extra money I paid for it this service to be refunded and for this option to be removed from their website and they kindly refunded all of the delivery. Blind arrived, looks great and was easy to fit.
wrong set of poles and brackets sent
Sent completely wrong set of poles and brackets. Customer service team have not been replying. Am left without curtain poles i can use and a huge box of atuff thats the wrong size... Was not cheap either so was expecting some kind of service.
2.4m gold 50mm pole
Ordered the 2.4m gold 50mm pole, item arrived quickly and for the price was fantastic.
Item not as described
The brackets supplied with this curtain pole are a completely different colour to the pole, rings and finials. Everything else is a polished chrome colour yet the brackets are shiny chrome. When I contacted customer service they were happy for me to return this item but I would have to pay postage! Totally unsatisfactory.

Do not fulfill orders - don't waste your time
I ordered curtain poles on 2 separate occasions. Both orders have not been fulfilled, and just cancelled without any reason's given 6 days after accepting order and payment.
I would not recommend this company as offering good for sale and then not fulfilling orders.

Excellent blind. Looks fabulous in my bedroom. Arrived promptly. Colours are really vibrant. It's like having a piece of wall-art at my window.
