Local Treasures Avis

A professional and efficient company plus best of all excellent workmanship.

Just so easy to contact with prompt, pressure free response. Always happy to help & advise with free estimate.

After searching in vain for help with the garden we were recommended to Local Treasures by a neighbour. The initial enquiry was quickly followed up by a very friendly call to chat through what we were looking for and how Local Treasures operates. Our allocated 'treasure' has proved to be exactly that and we're very pleased indeed with the results. The invoicing/payment process could not be more straightforward. Overall we're delighted and very happy to recommend Local Treasures as a source of valuable help.

After one failed attempt they found an excellent cleaner. She is young so needs a little “educating” in some respects but we are pleased with her

Local Treasueres help you to connect with people such as cleaners, DIY, etc. I have had a cleaner now once a month for approximately 4 months 2 hours each time. Maria is friendly, professional and on time.

Rob worked hard and fast, cutting our privet hedge the traditional way with hand shears.
He was not put off by the rain and careful not to trample my plants.
Thank you

Absolutely fantastic service! Excellent work! Really knowledgeable, friendly, kind and extremely approachable. Very reasonable rates, really quick to book cannot fault Local Treasures. I absolutely love them and I WILL be using them again…just compiling my list of jobs! 🤭

When things get tough and you can't manage jobs around the home any more, it's wonderful to have a trustworthy service to turn to, and Local Treasures is just that. Everyone, from the person taking the initial contact to the person who calls at your home have been extremely helpful and willing. It's a win win situation with participants tackling as much or as little work as they want and the homeowner getting the necessary help they need. I am very grateful for this service and would highly recommend it.

I booked a 'treasure' to do regular fortnightly cleaning for my elderly Mum. She has been amazing, and although my Mum wouldn't say it, she is also great company for those 2 hours every other week.

I had the best help I could have hoped for the two ladies who came to assist and cook my evening meal were gold star the food was beautifully prepared and cooked washed up the kitchen left spotless and my patio garden watered as well as other small tasks. They were a delight to have in the house on time and so companionable I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Equally Lou provided this help to meet my need immediately my sincere thanks and appreciation it has so aided my recovery.

Excellent service and support. Used Local Treasures for over 5 years and can recommend them.

Rude and unprofessional.

The main issue is that you can't cancel a job online, which is a basic feature any company like this should have. Instead, you're forced to waste your time emailing or calling just to cancel an appointment.

After I pointed this out, I received a call from a mobile, the caller replied with a very cocky, "Yes, you can," when I said it wasn't possible to cancel online. As I was on the website while speaking to them, I simply asked, "Okay, where do I do that?" Instead of explaining, they immediately hung up.

If you're going to tell a customer they're wrong, at least be prepared to show them. Hanging up the moment you're asked to back up your claim is unprofessional and speaks for itself.

recently used Local Treasures for some custom installation work at my home, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The tradesman did an absolutely fantastic job. He was exceptionally friendly, clearly very knowledgeable about his craft, and made sure to leave the area completely tidy once the job was finished.

Additionally, the appointment organization went perfectly. Booking through their platform was easy, efficient, and well-managed from start to finish. Highly recommend their services!

The service is very efficient and reliable. We have not had our person for long yet but we feel they are knowledgeable and that they take their work very seriously which is great.

Local treasure sent Jonathan to do the job we requested. He was friendly, polite and kept us informed of time of arrival. The job was finished to an excellent standard, and we have since used Local treasures and Jonathan again. Thank you Local Treasures.

What an amazing job on repointing my patio, which was in dire need of attention.
Pleasant and hard working Treasure.

I hadn't heard of local treasures before, however found the process from requesting for someone to carry out a very small odd job to the job being completed so easy! The gentleman who carried out the work, communicated with me promptly, arrived on time on the agreed day and completed the job quickly and tidily. He was friendly and polite. I will be using Local Treasures again and recommending to everyone.
