Lodge Brothers are an independent, employee owned funeral service. 7 generations of our family have been helping local families in their time of need. For 240 years we have provided funerals, both modern & traditional, with reverence and compassion, for all faiths and the non-religious. We can facilitate cremations, burials, direct cremations and remembrance services. We bring our Lodge difference to every service offered including our own legal team (providing wills, probate and lasting POAs) and our highly skilled masons providing unique memorials, inscriptions and design work. We have a dedicated Funeral Plan Team who can help with planning for the future with a funeral plan or funeral wishes. We also supply floral tributes, Orders of Service, cremation urns and keepsake jewellery.

Memorial Stone
We had a memorial stone for my dad grave made by Lodge Brothers Masons . We were pleased with the whole process form choosing the memorial stone which was Granite Book, to the engraving of the stone. The stone looked just like the proof. We also had a picture was is clear and a nice touch to the wording and memory of my dad. Thank you Mary ( memorial Administrator)
Thank you so much, it was so nice to see my mum feel that she has been able to respect his wishes and have him buried in a comfortable place with a fitting memorial stone to mark his life. Thank you Lodge Brothers.

Outstandingly professional with understanding, warmth and empathy.
Both ladies were absolutely amazing. Attentive, sympathetic and honest. There were some small miss communications though who is responsible for these could never be truly understood. My experience was that, when I highlighted the miscommunications, they were addressed immediately and everything possible was done to address them. I am also very grateful to all the staff who accompanied my mum and drove us all to and from the crematorium. They were so absolutely respectful that, even when ‘we’ tried to make jokes, they stood firm with their professionalism. Their warmth and support was evident throughout.

From the beginning to the end of…
From the beginning to collecting my mum and the end of arranging my mum’s funeral, Chris at Lodge Brother’s in Englefield Green was amazing, sensitive, caring, attentive to every detail and bless her always there to answer my telephone call’s or when we came into the office to any questions or concerns from myself or my dad in arranging my mum’s funeral. Chris isn’t just an employee of Lodge Brother’s, she was a very caring, supportive friend and gave me great comfort through the loss of my beautiful mum. Chris helped and guided me to put together the Order of Service and she kindly read through my Eulogy to check it was ok. Thank you Chris, with all of my heart. Deborah xx

Things went extremely smoothly from start to finish. From collecting my dear mum when she had passed to her cremation. Kim was very helpful with regards to organising all that was needed and made everything effortless on which was a very emotional journey for us as a family. The whole experience was exemplary. Right from first contact, Victoria at Lodge in Lightwater did everything to ease the process and take away any stress. She was so empathetic and helpful throughout - guiding us through a traumatic period with real care. Couldn't give her a higher recommendation.
Currently using Lodge Legal department to progress probate - being a little slow in their processes to date.
