Very Poor Experience - in many ways

My partner and I visited the Gawler store (SA) in person and ordered separately.

We both intended to use the self-service machines however he went to the counter as he couldn’t customise his order as he wanted.

Upon placing my order at the machine, the screen went white as I processed payment so I went to the counter.

This is where things get messy.

The girl at the counter went to my order through again as she “couldn’t find it.” After some back-and-forth, I showed my bank app with proof of payment, and then she conveniently “found it” straight away.

As my partner and I paid separately, the girl offered to bring out our orders together, which was appreciated, so we walked away with number 63.

20 minutes pass. We visit the counter to find that my order had been left out as it was ‘take away,’ and my partner’s had been completely forgotten.

Another 10 minutes pass. I’ve now finished my slightly cooled burger and soggy chips and my partner goes up again - they forgot the meal. AGAIN. This time, the shift manager, who my partner spoke to the first time, tried to shift blame on the kitchen staff.

This service is not good enough. What was meant to be a quick 10 minute in-and-out visit turned into a 45 minute back-and-forth ordeal. We were on our way to something important, which or course we were late to.

I told McDonald’s about my experience through the feedback link on their website. Currently waiting on a response.

I'll keep this review short and sweet.
One went to the Stockland Express franchise Townsville and I was soooo hungry that arvo, the Capitol Regent Chinese wasn't open yet :(

Apon entering the upside-down butt crack in the sky, one saw all the carefully presented, propped and choreographed Mcphotos on their counter display screens featuring all their 'Mcturnover'.. Looked appetizing and somewhat scrumptious!

Ordered a bacon lovers burger, double quarter pounder and cheese, and Mcshake and sundae.

I never got burgers that looked ANYTHING like the ones in the photos up there??
Burgers pictured (modeled) on the display screens were all dressed up like $300 escorts in their McFrillie's and McBloomer's, fresh attractive and standing tall!
Bacon looked crisp with get up and go (like it had been dipped in a Viagra solution before it was grilled).

Well, at the end of the day, what one did get was saggy, tired and luke LUKE warm.

The bacon was sad and soggy.
My get up and go EXPECTATIONS, got up and left!
Yep, Elvis left the building,
The McHorse well and truly bolted!!!!

HOLY COW!!

I smelt McRat!

What a kick in the privates that was!

(The last time one came here those megre McOfferings were also luke warm borderline cool too! One rang MacDonald's head orifice in Sydney and was told that they'd get the franchise owner to ring me. After several months one is still waiting).

One really felt like 'producing' my own personal 'quarter pounder' (with mega cheese) on their floor whilst singing
'God bless Ausmerica' followed by a chorus of 'Camptown races' (doo-dah, doo-dah day)!

At least the folk in the queue watching my McWheezin McCheese-squeezin 'spectacle' would have known where THAT meat come from!!!

(would have been more entertaining than watching the shenanigans their pathetic 'McClown du jour' gets up to in their restaurants)!

A lot of ol' farts like me don't go to those noisy McDonald restaurant places full of screaming yelling larvae, we prefer the quiet express stores, something that McWhatsemYouCallEm 'clown du jour' should take note of!

[[Speaking of which,
McDonald's should lose the clown, bury the bugga in your corporate McGarden or sell him off to an antique dealer or something!
Don't take this the wrong way, there's no malice intended, but your 'clown du jour' is a bygone relic in 'nanny state' Australia, an outdated politically incorrect dinosaur that is out of place in todays society where kids are warned about associations with 'luring' strangers and the like!]]

I hope Mc$$$ appreciate I am being very restrained in my McLanguage on here, considering the latest 'kick in the nuts' one got from their LUKE WARM McTurnover!

In fairness their McSundae and McShake were ok for what you pay for em...
And
What a farce their display screens are!
McCorporate McPoop is what it really is!
One feels sorry for folk who frequent this place.

REALITY IS, the poor and underprivileged have the choice of rubbish bins, KFC, the local charity's soup kitchen or McDonald's.
Many chose the later only to preserve their social standing and dignity.

Another McLesson learnt!
I've been getting my McFillin's elsewhere ever since.
As I always say, you get what you pay for!
Only want to spend a couple of bucks then McCheap n McNasty is what you get.
(Minus the displayed Mcfrillies, suspenders and McBloomers).
Remember the adage 'no such thing as a free lunch'.

Bon Appetit!!

They can wait till their McCows come home before I step foot in there again!

And, I'm sure as heck not getting my teeth into any more McShowpony!!

Product quality and customer service…

Product quality and customer service has definitely gone downhill in the past 5 years. Colac VIC store always everything is thrown together with either sauce all over the burger wrapping, drinks with drink spilt all over the cup, or drinks with no syrup in them. Warrnambool East VIC store cannot get orders correct very very frustrating to be told we can't adjust your order you'll have to drive through again, seriously! I think I'm ready to ditch maccas for good. Considering I was once an employee of McDonald's I'm sure we would not of been allowed to serve our product like that or argue with the Customer.

Got fries, OK what you would expect.
Chocolate shake was good.
Chicken burger... Dry and like someone stood on it.
Double cheese burger... Half the size you would expect and like it was stood on as well.
Rarely do I eat from these fast food places because of this. Another problem is Kids working don't care, just doing a job and that's easy to see. Menu boards are fake advertising with false images of real meal supplied. It's criminal.
Typical thou of most other outlets and simular companies.

THEY BETTER RETRAIN THE BURGER ROOM PEOPLE.WIFE WENT TO CHECK BURGER OUT AND PRESTO ITS A BLOODY MEAT PATTI.AS WE WERE TRAVELLING BACK HOME SOME 300KS IT WAS TO HARD TO GO BACK.THE BIRDS AT THE NEXT TRUCK BAY ENJOYED IT. AND THE COFFEE TASTED LIKE SH.......T.LETS SEE IF MACCA REPLY.I DOUBT IT.

THE BURGERS ARE BETTER AT HUNGRY JACKS.

Napkin issue

There were so many times happened that Maccas don’t give napkins when I collected my food from the counter or Drivthru. I have to go back and ask them for it. It really bug me especially the branch in Marrickville Metro! Some time I order salad and they didn’t even include the dressing. The staffs were probably trained but don’t give a S H I T about it! I hope this review will wake them up!

Don't get home delivered

They use Doordash and they delivered the wrong order, I rang and reported this and they resent the order, it was wrong again. I rang and asked for my order again, they refused to attempt to deliver it again instead insisting they refund the money. Refund never came through so I rang again and they said they refunded me with credits on my account not cash then said it is too late to change this to a cash refund.

We went to maccas at treendale on…

We went to maccas at treendale on thursday. I think the salad was a disgrace with a handful of lettuce and a couple of tomatoes. Also we didn’t get out monopoly stickers on our burgers or Chips.

FANTASTIC!!

FANTASTIC!!! I went there and didn’t get stabbed… they didn’t poison me and the workers didn’t give me death threat!!! WAY better then my experience at kfc… 5 stars

Our whole order was wrong - poor service — poor quality control - poor food quality - Chatswood interchange McDonald’s

Order from McDonald at interchange in Chatswood via Uber eats. In our order the crispy chicken Caesar salad was just lettuce and chicken, we ordered a grilled chicken burger with no bacon but the burger came with bacon and the chicken was pan fried to the extent it was burnt, we ordered a garden salads which was just a small serve of lettuce with 2 cherry tomatoes and the whole veggie burger missing.

Items missing from drive through, again McDonald's

I ordered a meal at the Richmond NSW McDonald's drive through, there were only 3 items so how can they miss one? Well they did. I wrote a comment on one of the McDonald's sites and Madison Ryznar wrote back and offered a voucher as compensation. I accepted it but when I received the voucher it said it was only valid for 3 weeks, and NOT redeemable through their Drive Through. I was not in the area and the voucher would have expired before I returned.
I mailed the useless voucher back and emailed Madison Ryznar but since then I have heard nothing. On my next visit to McDonald's Richmond (NSW) I waited in the drive through lane until I got my credit. Sorry to all the people behind me as it took over 4 minutes to sort out.
Poor customer experience, McDonald's.

I am unhappy with Mac Donald’s Belmont. First I was given the wrong order. Then forgotten and left waiting in the waiting bay for 30 mins. Then they forgot my
Chai latte and had to wait another 10 min. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Did not get an apology either

Wrote two complaints, none of them being addressed

Used the mobile app to order on two separate occasions and sent feedback on with complaints. Both times I asked to be contacted. On both occasions, I never received and correspondence. McDonalds does not handle complaints. They don't respond to complaints. They certainly haven't offered any resolution either.

McDonalds is a big corporation so they are able to absorb these 'losses' of reputation. Since they are happy to take some hit to their reputation, I'll just do my bit and give a 1 star for my own experience and for how I feel as a customer. Ignored, and with no resolution. So for anyone reading this, McDonalds may be a convenience restaurant, but if you have an alternative, just choose the alternative instead.
