The MileageWise app is a fabulous way to start your mileage tracking process.

Plus, MileageWise offers a service tool that is unique and powerful, the easy conversion of Google Takeout JSON files to a usable Excel format, including creation of IRS acceptable mileage logs.

Best of all, IRS acceptable mileage logs can be created for virtually any time period recorded in Google Timeline for your drives and mileage. It’s easy to use and produces IRS acceptable mileage logs in minutes.

No other mileage tracking service that I have found has this tool. All other solutions I’ve seen and tried are time consuming and frustratingly difficult to use.

I’ve tried converting Google Takeout JSON location and travel log files using Excel’s data import tools, but the results are complicated, confusing, and difficult to use (way too much data that is not formatted correctly). What’s worse is that Excel’s Power Query JSON data import tool apparently needs to be recreated for every monthly mileage file. The time required to import the data is enormous, and a great deal more time is required to make the information usable for its intended purpose, a simple mileage log that the IRS will accept.

If you need the mileage logs, MileageWise has the right tools. Using them saves your irreplaceable time and energy for the productive tasks that make you money.

This app is perfect for logging mileage for the IRS. I've literally tried every single mileage tracker app and nothing compares to MileageWise. Hands down the best couldn't log mileage the way the IRS wants without it. Thanks for this.

I am an Uber driver and have been looking for an app that would capture all the addresses when picking up/ dropping off riders. Mileagewise has several use options available and the manual option documents this for me. Took a few trips to remember to do it, but it quickly became automatic. And if I miss a trip, inserting it is seamless.
The layout of the app actually makes sense for the user- me, unlike other apps I had tried. Both the mobile app and the web page are great. I like when something works and Mileagewise definitely does. That is why I am giving it 5 stars, and recommend it to other drivers.
They also send emails with suggestions and videos on features. Nice to be kept abreast of improvements.

Mileagewise has worked excellent for my intentions. I needed to reconstruct my mileage for the previous FY as I had a hard time keeping a log. Gary has been excellent to work with!

Gary is super helpful with customer service. I found the Mileage Wizard tool very convenient for reconstructing a mileage log. I don't know of another resource like MileageWise for importing your Google Maps Timeline to build a mileage log. The lack of annoying ads is a plus and MileageWise is a great resource that makes keeping track of delivery miles easier while conforming to IRS guidelines.

It was very easy to create IRS acceptable mileage logs using the app. Highly recommend.

The Help Desk seemed very service-oriented and bent over backward to assist me in a way that companies used to in the old days.

However, I tried it a second time and they stopped taking phone calls. It is only through the virtual desk that you can type your request.

I've been reviewing my trips and "reconciling" them each month with my odometer. Wonderful experience.

My husband is a field service tech who travels about 50,000 miles per year. Trying to get mileage info from Google Locations and tracking info was so complicated that I nearly gave up. I am technically competent and I was able to find info on the web that seemed like it would help, but it didn't produce information that was easy to use. I wanted to create a mileage log to use with my tax return. I came across MileageWise and used the free trial to give it a shot. It was perfect. I'm not kidding. I immediately purchased a lifetime gold license. I highly recommend it. It is easy to remove personal trips, and to mark locations that you travel to repeatedly.

MileageWise and the tracker app is easy to set up and doesn’t drain the battery too much on my iPhone, which is also a pro. It seems to track quite well in terms of coordinates, though I’m still trying to figure out if it can more automatically identify the business names and locations I’m visiting. In the future, I would hope to see retrospective logs accessible to the customer regardless of the plan they choose, or perhaps a monthly plan for it. I was confused and accidentally signed up for the wrong plan, but it turned out just fine in the end. The MileageWise team seems like a small business, so happy to support their vision and their livelihood making it come true. Another thing I like is that I can access this on my phones and on the Web dashboard. In general, MileageWise is a strong competitor in the area of mileage tracking, especially for small businesses.

Really powerful app and the desktop program saved countless hours with mileage reconstruction. Love how it all syncs up together. Saves so much time logging your trips.

This app is just what I needed for my mileage tracking. The app is user friendly and they provided assistance when I needed it. I recommended this app to anybody looking for a good way to track their Mileage.

Simple and accurate! Perfect for me tracking my mileage for Doordash!

Invaluable amount of time saved not manually capturing addresses, delivery/rides, & calculating work vs personal. I love the plus then add after each stop. It’s so simple to adjust trips or add, almost too simple cuz I’ll often forget to capture my stop.

But I said mostly tho as I still capture data like start and end times , odometer readings start and end work, gas fillup cost, mpg, total gallons and daily & monthly averages.

I’d love to be able to capture my odometer reading right when I enter my start or along the way in the app instead of only once a month. I always have to delete my home tax base trip from prev day to start of next since working overnights. Capturing a gas cost with trip and totals along way would also save time. Lastly, not being able to use map while add new location and search location with the map available to look at is tough since I can’t view thats it’s correct.

I would recommend this app, even if just for the ease of capturing trips. It wasn’t clear I couldn’t use import functionality on my current sub or see data I entered for past months without a higher tier. It’s still been worth and I am not regretting the sub
