MileageWise Inc. Avis

Let's talk about the MileageWise app a bit. In the time I've been "trying out" the app, I've found quite a bit to like about it. I've been testing the app out with two other similar apps to test things such as:
- accuracy
- battery drain
- stability

I've found that the app is very stable (no crashes the entire time I've used it) and seems to drain the battery less than other apps. I did this by turning off other apps one day while I test MW. I rotated apps while still keeping my ability to track mileage on SOME platform and tested various features. Along with minimal battery drain, I found the app to be very reasonable on data usage on a month to month basis.

The app is well designed, but is still different from other apps. I very much appreciate that it is, for the most part, easy to navigate the options. In the event that I found a setting that I had a question about, it was EXTREMELY easy to contact support, and they graciously walked me through any issues and even answered more questions (superfluous to my question).

I love the fact that I can add locations on my computer (not just my phone) for places in preparation for trips rather than just tagging them when I get there. I also noticed that the app keeps track of the start and end points of each trip without tracking my route, per se. Also, unlike other apps that give you an estimate of where you started or stopped, MW can give you the longitude and latitude. Sweet!

Great app, low battery and data usage. Love the fact that it drills down to latitude and longitude for accuracy as well as the fact that humans are available to help out and answer all your questions (even ones you didn’t call in for) to make sure the app works without a hitch.

Good job, guys!

Great customer service. Very committed to their product.

Mileagewise to the rescue! I chose Mileagewise because I needed software that could easily import json and csv files. Beyond that, I'm impressed with how easy the user interface is to navigate. Also, it's easy for me to block-categorize trips as well as set the default type of trip (e.g., business trip).
I've tried other apps to record my mileage but they all have trip gaps. The only thing I've found that consistently gets it right is Google Maps. Now, I can download my Google Maps data and import it into Mileagewise.
I understand why they don't track every mile, and that's OK with me. I would buy Mileagewise again!

I started gigging to make some extra cash. I found that, for the most part, being able to make my own schedule and make enough money worked better than my 9 to 5. Doing deliveries has an easy barrier to entry, but when it comes to making the most out of it. There isn’t some magical wizard with all the answers waiting at the fork of the road.

Tracking all the things you need to get the most accurate return on what you have invested in your “business” is the only way to make this job feasible. Like anyone else, this is a job in and of itself to do.

Most delivery apps do not help, or waste any time with record keeping for their 1099. You need to keep track of not only your expenses but maintenance and mileage.

Suffice it to say that Mileagewise is a fit for my business. Especially my lifestyle. Between: Google Maps, Mileagewise, my record keeping, and the delivery app. I have enough sources to lazily compile my weekly reports.

What I was not expecting was the support from Mileagewise. Maybe it is that type of year but the emails they send with tips and suggestions are good refreshers for 1099 contractors like myself.

Here is the main reason, You can do the tracking manually, or you can have it track your movement in the app, or you can import the data from google maps. THEN in turn you have a Dashboard where you can organize and categorize your stops in a way that is IRS approved. look... this will save you time so you can focus on other things.

They have the support team and the app & Dashboard puts the experience together.

Mileagewise takes the guesswork out. Anyone that uses google maps knows that, it’s not 100% When you add your own log-keeping you will find holes in your data. This service for a small fee per year, is the same amount I would pay myself so I could have the free time and peace of mind to do something else. If you need a tool to keep track of your miles, where you can cross-reference the data from the app on your phone and your maps records. This is it. It took a bit but, most of the stops you have done... you will do again. This thing will recognize it and make classifying your mileage a breeze!

What really drives home is the support. That guy Gary is there for me, lol specially the first 2 weeks, it was like I had someone holding my hand.. or maybe I was holding his. What I mean is, spend some money and get back some of your time to focus on the more important things.

Throw out the paper and pen and download the app!

This app is wonderful because it is very user friendly which allows you to input date very easily which in return saves you a lot of time.

I am very happy with purchase. Good add-on features too, Web dashboard to login from PC, Google Timeline import, Waze, gap filling to match odometer, built-in auditor.

So far so good with this app. The customer service has been great and the functionality of this affordable app could save me thousands and a lot of time and effort.

So helpful! And understanding

Great product for tracking business mileage

Great product for reconstructing mileage log

A couple of years ago I was using a mileage tracker that worked just fine until they decided to stop supporting the app. I came across MileageWise and it has been a great app for tracking my business mileage. The app keeps track of my destinations so if I go to the same place more than once, it is kept in a list that I can quickly select (it defaults to that location first on the list based on GPS). It doesn't track and record my location continuously which might be an option for the future (I really don't care if they do).
I had a chance to visit with Akos and Gary about my experience with the app and they were genuinely interested in my thoughts, suggestions, insights, and challenges. The wanted to understand how I use the app and how it could be better! They really do care about making the app better for the end user.
Although it can take a little bit to get used to the process of using the app, it really sets my mind at ease knowing that the data won't be lost-my former mileage tracker blew up and I lost data...that took a while to recreate 🙁
I definitely would recommend this app to manage mileage for anyone needing a sound app/program for their business needs!
