A little history...Mill Timber Direct was established as a sawmill outlet store in 2016 in Croespenmaen near Crumlin in South Wales. In 2023, the store was re-modelled as a Mon Timber branch, to introduce new products and services offered by timber specialists Mon Timber (already well-established in Newport and Cardiff), to the local Crumlin and Valleys area. Our Crumlin branch is still located right next door to a sawmill, so we can supply timber directly from the mill.
Mill Timber Direct is now the online store for Mon Timber and with branches in Cardiff, Crumlin and Newport we can deliver across South Wales, the South West of England and nationally across the U.K.

Just needed a delivery advisory date
Just needed a delivery advisory date. When I enquired by email one was forth coming asap and delivery occured on the advised date by a helpful driver.
I know my order wasn't the biggest and so delivery may have to be rearranged from the advised date but that would be understandable. Otherwise excellent service.

Hello Mr Kenworthy-Neale. The timescales regarding delivery are on the main page of the website and are currently 3-7 working days. Your order was made on Friday 4th October and you asked for an update on Monday 7th October and of course we gave an update being that the delivery was planned for Wednesday 9th October. We do always need to check stock levels at the retail braches as well as plan your delivery with our transport teams so occasionally orders made on a Friday may be confirmed by Monday of next week. Goods ordered online shown as in stock at Newport . Did not hear anything after a week so rang Newport to be told delivery was to be from Cardiff. Rang Cardiff to be told items were not in stock and waiting for delivery.
You need to keep customers informed as to progress of orders when there is a delay.
