Negative change to girls school trousers!
If I could score only the staff at he Bedminster store it would be 5 stars, however I have come on to review the recent change in the secondary girls school trousers (Banner brand).
What once was a nice soft and comfortable fabric with adjustable inner waist band has been replaced by the thick, stiff, shiny and rough material trousers akin to primary school kids uniform that stopped the knees from wearing thin due to sliding on the floor…
These are not practical for teenage girls, as the material has no give (we had to size up, but it was still super tight on the waist), does not breathe and the groin / pelvic area sags due to the groin / pelvic to waist ratio being way off causing so much excess material it is ridiculous.
I have been told these ‘new’ trousers are now the standard, so this is my plea to please bring back the original soft material and recognise that girls need that flexibility due to fluctuations throughout the month!
For now, I will be off to Marks and Spencer who offer a variety of realistic and comfortable school trousers for girls of all shapes and sizes.

The boss woman was so rude
The boss woman was so rude. Shop was empty. I walked up to pay. As I approached she put her hand up and said wait. And continued to look at her iPad til thing. And another staff turned up and ordered her to look after me. So rude. Manners cost nothing.

Excellent staff
Today was our first visit to the shop to look at secondary school uniform. Carlo was SO helpful and happy for my daughter to try on whatever she needed to. There was no pressure to buy! Carlo was brilliant at knowing the school policy for the uniform, what usually sells out most quickly, what items are sometimes difficult to get stock. He was also great at suggestions sizes for various items.
