I am a new tenant with Metropolitan and have found everyone very helpful, initially Shehzad K and Allyson C and today I spoke with Will in the rent department (?), I am always really anxious about phoning people, Will helped me understand a universal credit issue, he was very supportive, kind, polite and well spoken, which was so very welcome because I have slow and auditory processing disorder, which I hadn't told him about, so his clarity was obviously his natural phone manner, I appreciate that 😊
While discussing things, Will picked up on some other things which may be of help to me that I wouldn't have otherwise known about.

this company lie threaten you intimidate you they have lied about a major damp problem our housing officer lied about my husband and took 3 years to put a post on our fence we have a boiler that is out of date and they refuse to do it we have had rats since 2023 in our walls and ceilings and they send surveyor who does know how a machine works and only surveyor half the property they are corrupt and offer vunerable adults money instead of doing the jobs one workman came out and told me he was a plumber but come to fix fence never done it before hopes he dont hit a gas pipe reassuring allyson campbell laura henshaw kelly fox and Nigel Evans all corrupt nigel Evans told us he didnt work for mtvh and my solicitor did a check on him he been with the company 5 years I dont get why they lie they get found out and it makes them.look stupid

Speaking to Jhenell Angus who informed me I would be contacted by someone, still had no response from them. This is relating to ground maintenance team chipping 2 block windows on the ground floor while cutting the grass which is a service we pay for, that is increased what feels like weekly.

I contacted MTHV today about a repair i requested online. They keep saying online is quicker and easier. Not true. But I spoke with someone today and he was polite and friendly and helpful. So don't trust the online repair request.
MOULD
We have currently been waiting for a repair to a leak in the bathroom that has caused Mould and damage to our interial bathroom ceiling now for a total of 3 years. After calling these for a now 52nd time this morning we have now been told the reference number we were given is not logged on the system and to raise it as a new repair ?? We were also told this last month. This is absurd.
I shall now be escalating this via a third party.

MTVH have very friendly staff.
I found MTVH automated system a little confusing but when I finally got through to Michael from MTVH he was super helpful and friendly. He sorted out my problem immediately with confidence and enthusiasm.

ANY RESIDENT REPORTING REPAIRS...
After 4 years of absolute misery, 29 reference numbers, 7 surveys.... 3 'pre-work' inspections, over 200 photo's from MTVH and "MetWorks" , yet, after being presented legal action they are now blaming my family and i , for 'aggression' in prevention of access??!!
These underhand illegal tactics do not, and willnot work.
You have defied the courts and an extremely high rate of scruitiny.
When will you take damp , mould and distepairseriusly @MTVH?

Disgusting how an emergency call out comes to to fix communal lights and they don’t even do it .. 3 days!! I’ve been calling about the lights are out! In the communal walkway .. your carnt see anything coming out of my flat and it’s DANGEROUS and we have medical conditions.. now there saying someone is switching them off .. ve been here 1( years and never have I found it do ridiculous

This review is about Paul (Property…
This review is about Paul (Property Surveyors)'s professionalism in identifying the root cause of the mould and damp problem. His assessment was very comprehensive and offered unbiased advice, he was very honest and did educate us on condensation (provided a lot of examples of how we can improve our quality of life). Paul is very knowledgeable about his work and explained a lot of technical issues very well in layman's terms and this was followed up with an email of his findings and advised moving forward. We had a visit from a different surveyor last year and his visit was quick and brushed the topic about mould and damp. It has been such a relief to receive such a high quality assessment with a detailed email with clear actionable recommendations and jobs that need to be prioritised. I cannot thank Paul enough for this clarity and professionalism.

I have been living with a leak for over…
26th May 02:00 am: I heard water running, in my kitchen, it was the same leak I have been calling you about.
I emptied the container and I had to wipe up the floor.
26th May 07:30 am the same issue occurred again.
As you suggested, I phoned the managing agency on Friday. I also phoned the freeholder who by the way confirmed that your company is responsable to deal with this issue. However, sofar, you seems not be doing much to help.
I will not call you anymore, because your contact centre seems not to know anything about my lease agreement but continue to collect my monthly direct debit payments.
How would you feel about cleaning dirty water from your floor at 02:00 am.
I look forward for your response.

Thanks for acknowleging that I made contact with your call centre yesterday. By the way; was it 1, 2, oh no it was 3 calls, and yet, there is still no resolution.
I have been living with a leak for over 3 months.
I paid over £600.00 to get a full plumbing report which was send to your company in the 1st week of April and you did nothing.
I made so many calls to you people; you refused my complain and still because I am a reasonable person, I carried on paying my rent and service charges.
I cannot go out for long hours because I have to keep checking containers and changing towels soaked with dirty water coming from who knows where.
How much more should I wait.
You are playing with my mental health, what else do you want from me to get this resolved.
I need my life back.

The process for repairs does not work…
The process for repairs does not work as a repair is closed before it has been completed you then have to re record repair . This can take months before repair is completed the system fails . When you phone repairs the staff do not provide a solution they reply by say they will contact morgan sindall and they either forget or cannot be bothered
