Muck Boot Avis 

Bought a pair in the sale around a year ago. Initially waterproof as advertised and comfy. About a month later the left boot started to leak - traced to the welt coming away from the upper - MB said I'd have to return the damaged boots and they would refund and I'd have to order another pair! Didn't bother as the issue was tolerable. After todays rain found a split in the left boot where the toe box meets the upper. Annoyingly the right boot is perfect and the soles aren't worn - I won't buy another pair as the reviews, returns policy and cost put me off!

To be honest 1 star is too much, they split within 2 months and the customer service is non existent!! I have tried to get in touch but hearing nothing back. Don't waste your money, they aren't worth it.

I have worn Muck boots for years and quality has severely declined in recent years since they have moved to foreign manufacturing (Vietnam I think) in search of profit. The last three pairs lasted less than a year each with only fairly limited use. Cracks developed on the top of the midfoot area or welded seams came apart. I am done with this brand.

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering these expensive gardening shoes. I thought they would be suitable because they are RHS-recommended, but no. Out of the box they seemed robust but weirdly heavy. They were extremely uncomfortable, with the elastic digging in despite the fact that I have narrow feet. No way could I wear these. Then I discovered their customer-hostile returns policy, as pointed out by others. I am unable to comment on how well they wear because they were on my feet for less than a minute.

Purchased a pair for my son in December by August they were splitting in the middle on the bottom of the boot. The rubber has worn almost flat on the heels. Used to have good quality. Not anymore in my opinion. Poor quality material at a high price.

Have owned 3 pair in the last 14yrs. First pair lasted 7. Second lasted 4 pair I own now started ripping behind heel. My opinion. Quality has gone downhill. How much wear can a 70 yr old put on a supposedly quality boot. Totally done with ever buying any Muck product.Would not recommend 😑

Leider sind die Gummistiefel nicht wasserdicht, nach kürzester Zeit hatte ich nasse Füße.
Was mich dazu veranlasst, hier eine Bewertung abzugeben, ist allerdings der mangelhafte Kundenservice.
Meine Stiefel konnte ich per bereitgestellten Label zurückschicken, allerdings sind sie schon seit über 6 Monaten dort. Auf mehrfache Nachfrage wurde mir dann gesagt, die Schuhe seien in einem Test als wasserdicht getestet worden.

I have been wearing Muck Boots for as long as I can remember. We own a horse farm in the North East, and I especially appreciated their insulated boot in the harsh New England winters. This particular set of boots, I bought as a backup pair. When it came to use them, the one year warranty was over. Shortly after that, the soles came undone. I called into your customer service, and was told that since the one year warranty period had expired, there's "nothing we can do". I explained the situation, but found no level of understanding. That was disappointing. I do not mind paying the extra premium for a brand boot with the expectation that your company will make things right if things go wrong. I came to re-evaluate this decision.

Buyer beware.

I bought a pair of Muckboots Woody Sport 5 months ago (November 25) and only use these for dog walking. I noticed at the weekend that there was a split on the left shoe. Please bear in mind that 5 months is still well within the warranty period. I sent photos of the boot to Muckboots and received a response saying this is "down to Wear and Tear which means it isn’t covered by our warranty." Since when is walking through muddy puddles excessive and something which a 'Muck'boot therefore considers excessive... clues in the title, isn't that what a 'Muck' boot for??? I also sent pictures of the other shoe that was showing signs of cracking in the same place.

If you only need to buy a pair for a few months (and to give a balanced review, they will be a very comfy 5 months), then these are the boots for you. If you want more longevity, which a supposedly premium shoe should offer, then AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I wish i had looked at previous reviews, both on here and on the Muckboot website as this is quite a common fault and each time the level of response and customer service is lacking what should be reasonable.

my experience with Muck boots is the same as the other reviewers here. i was very happy when I bought these boots as they were supre comfortable and waterporof. But not too long in the rubber began to split and leaks started. They are junk. Dont waste your money

Very poor customer service. Bought the boots as a Christmas present for my brother in law. He wore them twice in 14 months and the first time in water they leaked. What a waste of money and they didn’t send him a replacement. Thoroughly disappointing the company doesn’t step up and replace their poor quality product. We have bought many of their boots in the past but will never buy another. Thoroughly disappointed in their response to a defective pair.

I have been a loyal Muck Boot customer for years. My first pair of the Ws Sport II Mid lasted over five years, which is exactly what you'd expect from a boot in this price range.

However, when that pair finally wore out and I bought the same model again, I was deeply disappointed. Less than a year in, the new pair has already broken and is giving me blisters. The quality is nowhere near what I was used to.

When I contacted Muck Boot to make a claim, they did not consider this a defect worthy of replacement or compensation – which I find completely unacceptable for a premium-priced boot.

The comfort is still outstanding, but when durability and customer service fail to match the price tag, I can no longer recommend this brand. I will be switching to a different brand going forward.

My new Muck boots fit perfectly, and I had no soreness after wearing them 8 hours the first day. They are easy to get on and off, are waterproof, and look great. Finally, the box is the perfect size for my cat to sleep in.

I ordered a pair of Muck boots on january29 2026 from Rocky Outdoor Gear store and as of february20 2026 have not received them yet and have not got any correspondence from the company yet Rocky Outdoor gear store charged my credit card and it posted on my credit card 1 day after i ordered. This all came about from a deals and steals ad from Good Morning America .

Prompt delivery, excellent product. Very helpful with a return.

My wife wanted the boots in one size and sent me the link. I bought the boots but when they arrived they were the wrong size. This is because the website automatically changes the size if they are out of your size which is stupid. I then had to wait over a month for a refund and they charge me shipping. Won't be purchasing any more muck boots

It’s sad that American Companies have put profits over quality, screwing over the American public by shipping all their manufacturing to China. Muck boots is just another example. I’ve had my Mick boots for 1 year, I have worn them 6 times last winter. Properly stored them as directed and yesterday I put them on to help my neighbor as his goats got out. Walking through a creek both of my feet were wet from leaks. I paid good money for what was once a good product. Now a waste of my money. I cannot recommend Muck boots or ANYTHING MADE IN CHINA!

It took almost two weeks for my boots to arrive. There has been so much snow in my corner of Scotland that I did understand a certain delay but what irked me was the lack of response by email when enquiring about delivery. I ended up having to telephone a few days later for information. I had to ask who the courier was and the tracking number as I should have got these details when the boots were despatched but didn't get this information. I didn't appreciate getting an email with reference to how to care for my boots when I hadn't even received them . Of course the snow has disappeared so didn't get the chance to use them when I actually needed them. I wish I had read the reviews before using this company as I would probably have gone elsewhere. Here's hoping they are worth the money as they are expensive but I did get a sale price.

Ordered a pair of Muck Boots on Amazon over 1 month ago and still haven't received them. Now I received a message we will email you when we have an expected delivery date. How can a company run like this, It's winter now. I do not recommend buying online but the reason I did is after having an issue with my last pair and contacting Muck they advised me to order online for easier warranty claim if needed. Was very difficult to get warranty after neoprene and rubber separated. At this time I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND

Wouldn't recommend buying online, cost me nearly £10 to return, most companies cover the cost of returning items that don't fit but not this one, needless to say I won't be trying a different pair.
