Easy filing. Responsive customer support via email but instant chat was not enabled. However, the instructions for filing with an ITIN application were not accurate and resulted in an initial IRS rejection.

The easy Navigation through the complete process

this website is amazing. it makes an awful, frustrating and time consuming job (filing USA taxes as an expat) and makes it easy! and even saves some of your answers from year to year so you dont have to reinvent the wheel each year when you file. Highly recommend!

Clear and straightforward...
As I move toward retirement, and new forms are included, the same natural procedures and quality control checks are in place. This helps protect both the accuracy of the submissions and the confidence of the customer. Thank you!

Two issues:
1)
(Edit: there are good reasons AI chatbots are not included, and the reasons are clear based on the response given by MyExpatTaxes.)

2)
Using my own AI service for review, I noticed a few issues on your side.

2a - Your year end high value estimations for my fbar did not round up, as is standard with the FBAR. The calculations were therefore likely not correct on your side.

I used the year end US exchange rate on the maximums I gave, and rounded up to the next whole dollar. These values are different from what MyExpatTaxes came up with, which end in random cents values.

In general, I am a happy customer, and appreciate your service. I will use your service next year, and hope I may pre-purchase a discounted service again.

I am not sure how to pre-purchase for a discount on next year's service.

I was very thankful for the fast and competent reply to my questions. Despite the excellent guidance through each step, the terminology can be confusing sometimes. The support and also encouragement given by the MyExpatTaxes-team was great.

My tax return wasn’t easy, and I contacted them only 10 days before the October 15 deadline. MyExpat Taxes makes filing really easy and I can count on it being correct. Plus they file both the Return and the FBAR for me, which is really helpful living abroad and given the state of the US Postal System.
