I've used MyExpatTaxes for three years now and have only had a positive experience each tax year. The software is intuitive and easy to use. If you still have questions, as I always do, the support team is excellent on all levels. A big plus, for me, is that once you submit a ticket to the support team, you have a dedicated person that will answer all of your questions.

I used to use a different Service, but stopped when they started charging hundreds for each extra form. MyExpatTaxes has a range of extensive, fair packages at affordable prices; excellent online questionnaires that facilitate filling out the forms; and easy payment methods with a discount for subscription. Oh, and they answer questions even if you’re self-filing. Wonderful!

All of the information needed to file my taxes from Italy is set up step by step with clear and simple explanations, examples are available, and necessary forms are provided when necessary.

Have been happy with myexpattaxes for years but this year is extremely frustrating. The checkout process is forcing the Reviewed Plan after purchasing the base plan. As far as I can tell there's nothing that would trigger this, it's not a complicated tax return. I can see lots of other users here claiming the same thing, and it doesn't seem to be resolved. Have messaged support but still waiting for an answer - previous years have been brilliant however.

Support did get back to me within 24h. A checkbox earlier on in the process was forcing reviewed plan. I was able to uncheck and checkout as base as intended. It'd be helpful if you're going to change how the software works to ensure you're giving feedback e.g. "You selected x, therefore y" rather than forcing upgrades.
