Being first time expat and trying to navigate the Expat tax and requirements, Expat Tax made it super easy to file. They include are the FBAR documents too. I will be back next year.

Software is very accessable. And after all information was uploaded, the tax returns were ready pretty quick. I also appreciated that they automatically asked for an extention of the deadlines.

For a basic declaration it's a great partner. BUT if you need any extra forms, then costs add up. Example: if you invest in PFICs, you have to fill one form per PFIC owned (Form 8621) and it costs 120€ EACH. The costs add up and make filing with Myexpattaxes way too expensive. I fear I have to look for a cheaper option or a free filing option to avoid spending so much money on my tax filings.

Super easy, transparent and intuitive! I changed from BrightTax which I used for a couple of years after they raised their rates more than 600CHF for the exact same return! MyExpat Taxes were more than 10x cheaper!

It's been great working with MyExpatTaxes. I only wish they would be able to do my Dutch taxes too. It would be nice to have a one-stop shop that managed everything.

MyExpatTaxes team were able to help me complete my 2025 US Tax Return and FBAR during a very difficult time. My wife had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and we were in the midst of trying to sale our house. I did the Streamlined Foreign Offshore procedure package, and MyExpatTaxes was really helpful, support team were very responsive, and were able to handle my questions, since the IRS seems to intentionally make the process confusing. In the end I should receive a refund (although they advised it could take up to a year to receive it, but that delay has nothing to do with MyExpatTaxes). Highly recommend. Totally worth it!
