Nucamp is a gamechanger. I originally was very nervous to enroll as I wasn't sure if I was good enough or if I'd grasp the concepts well. Before the boot camp, I was making my career in UX Design. I enrolled in the FrontEnd and Mobile Development Bootcamp to expand my skillset and become a FrontEnd developer. This course was awesome! I want to highlight the instructors of each of the sections. My instructors were so dedicated to us students in understanding and learning the material. I had previously been in another bootcamp. Like anything you find that finances are always a concern. I wasn't looking for anything cheaper, but something a little more in my range starting off. Now I am looking forward to my new career in Cybersecurity and to continue to grow within this space.

Really liked Web Fundamentals. It was a good refresh for me in some areas and in others I was still challenged because I found my weaknesses and know what I need to focus on to get better and keep moving forward.

I was searching online for coding classes. I first looked into community colleges but the in-person class schedule and price didn't work for me, as I am caretaker for my son with special needs. So in looked for online classes and found Nucamp. It was the perfect combination of self-paced, price, fellow student contact and teaching from a skilled instructor. I look forward to hybrid or remote work to further developing my skills and gaining experience.

A Comprehensive and Affordable Investment

The foundations of most web development are "coding languages," HTML, CSS, and Java Script. This 4-week couse teaches the former two, some Java, and it offers more: Bootstrap and some NodeJS. In 4-weeks you will deploy a website, coded by you and have the ability to repeat multiple times. Learning to code is a skill set, a type of trade, that can be exchanged for financial and monetary gain.

Even if you're not seeking to get hired by a major tech company, you can certainly be more confident in tackling computer issues on other sites and in your personal life. These skills can lead you to be an entrepreneur on sales sites, like Amazon, Shopify, and the like because you get the foundational aspects of what it takes to code and how to maneuver in and out of a web platform. Knowedge, is certainly power.

However, if you choose to be a solopreneur or an employee, you will get the fundamentals that can take you to additional more intermediate and advanced courses.

I chose Nucamp because of the introductory Web Fundamentals that most adults should know how to do. From here one can choose additional coding and specialties: Front stack with mobile, Full stack with mobile, Cybersecurity, and Backend applications.

But, if you decide it's not for you, then it was only a one-month investment that's worth your time and money.

In the long run you will need a modern and comprehensive set of tutorials with the latest software, a dedicated set of instructors that will help you, a large community of developers, career services, and students that also guide and help your progress, including other members of your cohort. All this for an affordable price.

Equivalent courses cost upwards of $18,000, but why pay more when you can have the same instruction but for a fraction of the cost?

I enrolled because of how quickly you can get through it with a lot of information and a whole community. I want to achieve a good job after a full stack developer camp experience.

I chose Nucamp because their platform seemed both comprehensive, as well as streamlined. The learning environment of small cohorts, self paced weekday work, with singular "live" class on the weekend was vital for me, and I was not disappointed. This was just the Web Dev Fundamentals course, and I know the knowledge ramp up moving forward is going to be high, however after this course I feel I have the foundation to advance. The instructor was excellent and the course work well laid out, and well paced. I highly recommend.

I found the course while speaking with a friend and it was a great chioce to start with I am already inrolled in the next class and will be going on to the full stack web developer course next, with the hopes to move out of my current field of work and into a full stack web developer positon somewhere in the Seattle area.

I decided to enroll in Nucamp after struggling with the very difficult job market in my field of physics. Nucamp was a great experience and I learned a lot. I also benefited from meeting fellow students and made some good connections with them and the instructors.

You need to approach a bootcamp like this with the understanding that no single source of information is going to provide you with everything you need to know. You will need to suppliment the course work with your own research and practice what you've learned.

After this bootcamp, I hope to land a job as a full stack web developer. They do provide some lessons on job searching, and they offer some apprenticeships with affiliated companies, but there is no job guarantee.

My reason for going with Nucamp was the cost of the bootcamp. After getting into the bootcamp I seen so many other amazing reason to choose Nucamp. If anyone you know or even for yourself is looking for a bootcamp to join you wouldn't go wrong with joining Nucamp. The amount of help you receive is great its like no one gets left behind, at any time you have a whole network of others students and staff that could help you out. My Instructor was one of the best he really wanted everyone in my class to make it to the need and graduate from the class.

I am an IT professional in with minimal coding experience. My goal is to transition to becoming a Software Engineer. I have learned a lot in this web fundamentals course and looking forward to continuing my learning with Nucamp. The content taught in this course is a great value but the thing that I think is the most valuable is the connection with the other students and instructors. Networking is crucial and Nucamp provides you with a great foundation of networking.

I always wanted to learn code since I was getting into college and after. Just different career opportunities came along the way and I never got to it. I saw Nucamp when researching Bootcamp's. Nucamp had really good reviews and also worked really well with my schedule as I have a full time job and a Family with 2 little ones. Even at that, I wondered if I could pull the trigger on it financially and mentally. After speaking with a counselor or recruiter, they eased my mind and Nucamp's payment otpions really are great and make it afforable witht he loan options.

Going throw the first step which was Web Development Fundamental(4 week course) was challenging since I really didn't know much about code. But, the videos, curricuelum and instructior we had really made it easier to learn from square one to the end. That being said, I still have a ton to learn and coding is no joke. There is a lot to it and I know I just scratched the surface with the Web-Dev 4 week course. I highly recommend doing this course if you have no experience in coding. It really lays the foundation down which is html. You need to know that before you go into anything else.

I'm going to the Full stack next in about 3 weeks. I fully believe I will go through the Web-Dev fundamental curriculum again to get as much practice as possible before the Full Stack starts.

What do I aspire to achieve after the Bootcamps.. the path in the coding industry is still a little unclear but I love sports and I love golf nowadays. So It would be great to get into a company such as Taylormade, Cobra, Callaway, etc.. in there web design branch. That would be the dream. I also I know that the tech industry is not going anywhere and really any path I can get my foot into will be a sustainable job and I can branch with more experience once I get my foot in the door.

I look forward to the next step in the Full Stack and can't wait to see where this journey takes me.

I've recently finished my enrollment for the Web Development Fundamentals Course, I did have prior knowledge for the basics of CSS/HTML (learning self-taught via Udemy) but there were a lot of gaps that needed to be filled.

Ultimately, I feel like I got everything that I came for in this course, an encouraging and helpful network of other students/instructors, a roadmap of projects to create, and in general, a non stress environment despite me working while taking the course, I'm really happy with the projects I've made so far by taking this course!

I plan on continuing with Nucamp's Front-End course and I look forward to it!
