I wanted to switch careers as a software developer and so far I feel like everything I have learned so far has been beneficial to me in my new upcoming career. I hope to continue to take more courses with nucamp and get job placement as a junior developer soon.

Before starting down this path, which is a serious right-turn from my previous career, I looked around at a lot of different bootcamp programs. I went with nucamp because of the reviews, the ease of accessing transparent details about the course offerings, and their quick and helpful responses to my questions. I was not disappointed. The Web Dev Fundamentals course delivered everything it promised in terms of both content and experience. My instructor was an enthusiastic professional--he was passionate about all aspects of development, and made sure to communicate a lot of common beginner pitfalls while emphasizing best-practice coding. He made himself easily available for questions or issues. The content itself was fantastic, the indiviudal lessons were well-structured and clear, and the entire dashboard/UI was easy to navigate. At this point I'm really looking forward to the Front End Dev course as I continue through the Full Stack Dev path.

If you are not a do-it-100%-yourself learner, Nucamp may be the cheapest yet most corporate culture simulating and personable bootcamp you may find. The course video and text content is in the process of being updated to support the latest software versions. So, some trial and error is required to get node working outside of the instructions. Though not supported, Linux users can piece together instructions from Windows and MacOS to do it on Linux. Use nvm to install node. Recommended.

As a network engineer with a Master's degree in IT Security from the University of NTNU, I decided to further enhance my programming skills by enrolling in Nucamp's Fullstack Bootcamp. Throughout the program, I was impressed by the quality of the study materials provided and the dedication of the instructors. Nucamp gives you a nice structure for self studies: ideal for those who're confident enough to learn independantly, but still needs a little big of guidance and organization

I've tried to learn to code for years, but struggled with keeping up the motivation. Nucamp has given me a structure that is flexible but keeps me accountable and I've learned so much in the past couple of months.

The instructors are knowledgeable and so willing to see you succeed, the content is bite sized and the challenges give you enough confidence to figure out what you may not know. It's an amazing bootcamp and it's not going to bankrupt you to do it.

If you like paying an exorbitant amount of money for YouTube videos this course is for you. If you want to drop out they will say you can drop out but they will continue to charge you as part of their policy. These were my adviser's exact words:

I really enjoyed the Web Development Fundamentals class. I have past experience in development but was out of the game for nearly a decade. I took this course as a refresher and to catch up on changes within the industry. The class really helped me get back into development. The exercises are self-paced and give you an opportunity to practice what you're learning. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful and are very willing to answer any and all questions whether in the weekly class or during the week on Discord. I highly recommend this class for both newbies and people with some experience.

I was looking for a pivotal switch in career after years living paycheck to paycheck as a graduate with an AA and BS and still under employed. I have completed the web fundamentals and will be moving into the backend and full stack classes. I have learned so much in just this short 4 weeks that i know this is the right move and i am absolutely capable of succeeding in my journey. Anyone considering Nucamp should give it a shot.

I enrolled in Nucamp to learn web fundamentals and explore which path I would like to pursue in tech. I am happy with my decision. Nucamp is affordable and gave me the comprehensive information I needed to move forward with my goals. I would like to explore full stack development. It is a big commitment so make sure you have the time to dedicate towards the bootcamp as well as study and practice outside of it.

It was the best decision to enroll into Nucamp. It was cheap and the materials that we covered were easy to understand. The instructors are really friendly and patient. They have resources to help you do great in your course and lots of staff support. I aspire to enroll into another Nucamp course.

You can also request help on the discord channel for whichever course you are in. They respond really quick and honestly helped me get through a lot of problems I ran into. This bootcamp is amazing I never thought I would be able to learn Web Development in such a short amount of time. I recommend for full time workers to set time aside to do the work and also look into whatever you are learning on the web as there is so much information. I can honestly say reading the documentation for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, React Nativ now I can understand what I am looking for and put it to good use. I tried to learn on my own for the past year and Nucamp has helped me to understand in such short amount of time. I highly recommend it to my family and friends, it's a good skill to have.

NuCamp offers a unique program for students to step into, embrace and be thoroughly exposed to a variety of specialized area's in trending and modern technology.

As a past alumni, I opted to revisit and engage a new course offering where I have been very impressed, as well challenged by the program scope.

I'd like to extend my wholehearted recommendation of NuCamp to future students whom may be entertaining an impasse of which path to follow. NuCamp is adequately comparable to other, more expensive offerings, such as a college branded or other similar program types that may present a far inflated cost.

I am at the point in my life where I'm ready for a major career change. I have always worked on the front line of IT in project management, product management and business analysis. However, I have always been fascinated with coding and have worked so closely with Software Developers the majority of my career. I found Nucamp via LinkedIn and could not believe how affordable they have made it to pursue a career in software development. It took me awhile before I finally pulled the trigger and enrolled in the Web Fundamentals class to get my feet wet and I'm so glad I did! I love the structure of the lessons, my instructor was fantastic and being able to attend workshops every Saturday was so beneficial for me to retain what I learned throughtout the week as well as staying connected with and learning from my other classmates. I absolutely love the way Nucamp has structured their bootcamps and I learned so much. I'm now completely sure that I want to keep diving deeper. I will be moving on to the Full Stack bootcamp in January and I'm so excited about what I will be learning and what 2024 has to offer regarding job opportunities as I know Nucamp is providing me with all the information I need to be a success! I would highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone! At least give the Web Fundamentals bootcamp a shot. It's so affordable and will help you make a decision as to what direction you want to move towards next! At least you will have enough knowledge to start building websites. It's a win-win situation!

The combination of self-study, virtual, and hands-on was perfect. This was a good introduction to the longer bootcamps NuCamp has to offer and I definitely recommend the Web Fundamentals course and will be taking the Full-Stack soon.

Nucamp is the perfect combination of self-paced study during the week and live workshop on the weekend. The Web Development Fundamentals course gave me the skills, and confidence, to build and deploy a website on my own. That is something I have been interested in for years, but never would have accomplished on my own. I will definitely recommend to others!
