Popped in there today 12/02/2026 with puncture, excellent service even though it was near closing time , in and out quickly with friendly staff very helpful.. would highly recommend

Unprofessional and terrible customer service
I recently purchased a personalised T shirt through Oakdene using Not on the High Street which was my first mistake, because when the shirt arrived they had made a very obvious error with the printing. As they had printed the shirt I contacted Oakdene directly but unfortunately the very unhelpful individual I spoke to insisted that rather than rectify their mistake and offer good customer service, I would need to photograph their mistake, email it to NOTHS, then wait for them to respond ( this was a birthday gift originally ordered in good time). Upon hearing/receiving no shirt or communication I contacted Oakdene again, and unfortunately spoke to the same jobsworth who said as they had not received anything from NOTHS I should now waste even more of my time and phone them and then NOTHS would contact them to tell them to rectify their mistake!!! The customer service advisor at NOTHS was very helpful, but agreed with me that as this was an error on Oakdene Design’s part, it should have been acted upon by themselves, instead of 2 emails containing 3 photos and 6 phone calls to amend a mistake that wasn’t mine. Would never recommend this unprofessional company to anyone.

Faulty website and incorrect personalisation
First of all couldn't order at all as the order form required you to complete the text you wanted in the gift card, even if you'd clicked the drop down above to say you didn't want a gift card. Then delivered the item personalised with completely the wrong details, alongside the delivery note with the right details on. Hopeless. Beware - they also sell through Next and other retailers. Avoid.
Absolutely dreadful customer service
Absolutely dreadful customer service. Incorrect item delivered. They wouldn’t accept this problem and blatantly declined to offer any help whatsoever.
Awful
Appalling experience trying to order a Christmas present with this company. Order took over a month to arrive, despite several attempts to contact them and sort it out. Eventually a replacement arrived but had items missing. I give up. This company don't make anything that you can't find elsewhere so save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.
Avoid this company, terrible service
Ordered a gift for Christmas on 7th December. Money taken from my account on the same day.
Order has not delivered. Not even sent out.
No response to any of my emails asking about it.
Terrible company
I ordered a personalised sign from oakdene designs in November but the personalisation was wrong, I was promised a correct one would be sent out but it never came, many emails sent to them over 3 weeks I finally got a refund through not on the high street! Awful customer service, they continuously lied, not happy at all, will not use this company again.
I am bitterly disappointed…
I am bitterly disappointed in the lack of support from this company. Having ordered a small gift on the 30 November and being told it was sent out on the 4th December, it’s never arrived. They’ve blamed Royal Mail but something I ordered on Saturday from another company, arrived on Monday. So that blows that theory out of the water. If they can’t fulfil orders, stop accepting them and disappointing customers. Never again! You’ve lost a lot of customers with your lack of communication.
Lovely product
Lovely product. Really impressed with the quality and care obviously put into making it and know my daughter is going to love it.
Unhappy with customer services
While I received the products promptly, there was a glaringly obvious spelling mistake on the item. Having checked that it was correct when it was sent out, I messaged them a couple of days later and yet had no reply. I understood it was the Christmas period, but it seemed early to stop all customer services and there was NO mention of this on their social media/websites. If there had been, of course I would have been more patient, but it was weeks of being ignored on multiple platforms.
I messaged them on their business Facebook to try and get it sorted, as it was a Christmas gift - my messages were continuously read and ignored. This was incredibly annoying; even if it was employees on a break reading them, it's so unprofessional to read and ignore a customer. It takes five minutes to reply and let a customer know when emails/messages would be replied to. If they had time to read multiple messages of mine, surely they had a second to let me know what was going on?
Eventually it was sorted and they apologised, which I appreciated, but I have only just gotten a replacement (15th Jam). It's been almost a month since my original order, so this simply isn't good enough seeing as A) it was a gift and B) it was supposed to be for Christmas. The item is nice, but not worth all of the hassle.
Great customer service and products
I ordered a couple of signs from Oakdene. On my first order I made a mistake, I contacted them via Not in the high street. I got a prompt reply advising they had update the order with the new details. Both recipients loved their family street signs.
Pretty poor service
Pretty poor service. Ordered a photo box which is supposed to come with a nice card with gold writing for you to have a lovely message of your choice. First one came with an incorrect message, the second one finally arrived all scratched up, had gold steaks running through it. Shocking thing is that who ever printed it actually looked at that and thought it was ok to send to a first time customer who had already complained. Poor quality.
Great product excellent customer service
Ordered 3 customised metal signs, one came with a small error. Oakdene sent a replacement immediately and without fuss. Very pleased with the product and the service.
