Not a smooth transaction
Started off really well, price agreed, car picked up and equity paid to me. Since my car has been gone, I have had nothing but hassle. Finance company saying they haven’t been paid correctly, cannot get anyone from Big Wants Your Car or Big Mororing World to speak to about it, emails being ignored, call and am put on hold then hung up on. Very stressful. I would avoid!!!

No response from buying team
Submitted my photos and had a phone call discussion around a price I was happy with over 2 weeks ago. I was told the buying team would be in touch and have told its been 'chased' several times since but i am still waiting on a phone call to finalise price and arrange collection after i uploaded all my photos. No direct number to the buying team either to chase. Disappointing and time wasting.

The process started on the 25/08 where…
The process started on the 25/08 where I spoke to an advisor. As i had a private plate i had to get this removed first which was understandable but the car was still going to be passed onto the buying team at the end of w/c 31/8 so that we can be ready for the V5 . The V5 came on the 7/9. I still not heard from the buying team after multiple chasing and many different responses. You have to wait 24 hours then it was 24 work hours then it was they are busy, then they are not that busy. Then they lost it on the system and had to re apply the cars photos and the whole process again. Today I phoned up as its over 24 hours again and they say there an issue a question had to be answered which i didnt know about. Got told there isnt a direct line for the buying team then got given one today which went to the switchboard. Then to be told they do not want my car at all. A very unorganised company with no consistency.

complete waste of an hour doing the submission & a week waiting for a call , lots of texts asking if someone had been in touch , then a message saying “ your vehicle might not meet our current requirements “ it’s the same vehicle you “ really wanted to pay the best price for “ when i filled the forms in !

Had numerous people calling, emailing and texting me constantly, quoted me one price then when called said it was lower as I didn't have service history. But then when I questioned what else they deducted the man on the phone said my car is 6 years old and should have six years worth of service history. I had to stop him, I ordered my car directly from Mini in Enfield October 2021 and it was factory made I got it with 0 miles on the clock with a red bow on it from the dealership... I collected it in January 2022 even the DVLA website said January 2022, he tried to say their records show it as 6 years. Either someone cant count or they secretly input wrong information to get you a low value to get your car for less than they know it's worth. I would avoid.

Great experience
Great experience. Received a good price for my Mercedes. The collecting driver Pav was absolutely brilliant. He explained everything v clearly and helped us through the whole process. No complaints at all. I would def use them again.

DONOT Sell to them - they will add a financial marker against your car
Two issues
They came and inspected the car and found an issue around some oil near the engine. There was an oil service that happened recently so it might have spilled. But they refused to buy the vehicle due to this. Fair enough. However we had freed up our day and did not accept any other offer as they had committed to buying it from us. When we spoke with Leon Anderson from their team he was extremely rude and condescending. My wife who is pregnant spoke with him to understand the reason and also explain the tough situation he had put us in. The phone was on speaker and he said that if "you are pregnant your husband should be talking to me". Is this a way of speaking with anyone. Are employees not given any form of training on how to speak with anyone.
Second and the more concerning one. When we again tried to sell it to another dealer we were informed that there was a financial marker against the car which was surprising as we had bought the car ironically from Big Motoring world on cash 3 years back. When we investigated further we found Bigwantsyour car had added an Unit Stocking marker against the car and did not remove it when they refused to buy the vehicle. After a lot of back of forth they admitted their mistake and said it can take 2 weeks to remove it and no one from the team who is responsible for this was willing to speak with us. Now we have a car we cannot sell due to their fault. This is very scammy behaviour and I would urge everyone to think twice before selling to them. If someone from HR and legal is reading this please get in touch with me as clearly there are issues with how your employees are trained and unethical practices of adding financial markers to a vehicle which is not legally yours and preventing the rightful owner from selling it.
