Contacted them. Uploaded photos. No one got back to us. Emailed them no reply. Rang the number and on hold for 30 minutes and no one picked up. Obviously don't want the business

So far, not a word although they don't stop sending me emails and texts reminding me that they want my car. I have sent them the car info several times. Bizarre way to do business. Must be good news for their competitors such as webuyanycar.com who have a proper booking system.

I have just sold my car to big and from start to finish they were excellent from the price they offered to the collection. No hassle at all. They gave me a price that I was very happy with at least 2k more that that other company we buy . Thank you

My experience was clearly below par. They came to take my car. But I had to rush for work. But the guy was happy with the condition of the car and agreed with the mention price. Once I rebook the collection the new inspector came and said I will have to change tyre and rebook again. So, I had to rebook collection and they charged me £150 for that and then knocked down the price £200. I wouldn't recommend anyone.

The whole process was so easy. We agreed a price really easily, they had someone come and check the car and then drive it away from my house. I was paid before they left and they checked everything had gone through. Easy from start to finish

Very easy company to deal with offering a very good price

First time using BIG, (have used others) and I think they are the best. You have to honest with pics and description, as the person who picks it up takes a load of pics, checks engine running, tool kit, thorough visual inspection. If all is good, you get the price they quoted you - All went well with my collection and was paid within seconds. All people very polite and friendly - would use again

This was my first time selling a car through this channel, and they provided step-by-step guidance and continuous updates, which was very reassuring.
On the day of delivery, Michael Downer was extremely patient in explaining each step; he was very professional and polite.
There were no deductions whatsoever; the price was the same as the original quote.

Bad experience, I appplied with my registration number, had a response back with a offer and sent in all the details they requested and was told that someone would get back to me, a number of times someone would contact me to ask if anybody had been in touch and every time the reply was the same “NO” I was still waiting. I then rang and was told someone would get back to me in 5 - 10 minutes, 2 hours later I rang back only to be told that they were not buying my type of car at the moment. WHY MAKE AN OFFER WHEN THEY ARE NOT PURCHASING CERTAIN TYPES OF CAR.

Excellent service, quick and simple. Price paid, was price initially quoted, no awkward conversations about cost when the car was picked up. I would caveat, I was totally ho est when I sent pictures and advised if any issues with the car. Micheal, who picked it up was great, fully explained the process. Would totally recommend this company.

Good service and fair price with no quibble. Phone wait times can be very long and emails duplicated, but overall a very efficient way to sell your car quickly.

Offering high prices to get you suckered in. Then warns me about other companies doing this.

Awful awful company to sell your car with - avoid at ALL costs.
Filled out the information online (photos, service etc) and was quite quickly called to discuss a price, which after thinking over for a day or two, I was happy to accept. Called them back to accept and spent the best part of 2 days having to sit on hold (as they were too busy) or being told they’d call back and they never did. When finally I got through to someone, who was actually helpful, they said that I would be passed on to a lady in payments and to expect a call by the end of the afternoon. Lo and behold, she never called. After calling back AGAIN, they told me she was packing up her bag to leave work in 10minutes and could we speak another day!!! After some cross words a lady finally came to the phone (not the said lady at the beginning) and sent me the documents to sign and upload for the collection. That evening I completed all asked of me.
I was told someone would call me - they never did. After calling again, I was told one of the forms needed to be re-done which I did immediately. After another three times calling this mystery lady and having a “thumps up” reaction to my email, I finally got through to a receptionist who told me they were actually not going to go ahead with the sale!!!!!! They felt one of the documents, sent by my service company, wasn’t valid as the company sent a photo of an excel and a photo of the PDF. I said I could get them to speak to them or I could get a stamped letter - anything to prove it was real and valid and she told me they were not interested. I asked why no one had contacted me (my car is due a collection in 48hours) and she said I’m “on a list” to be contacted!!!! When questioned why this morning I wasn’t told when I was informed about updating a utility bill, she said that the person who spoke to me was in the wrong and should have told me!!!!
AWFUL AWFUL customer service and now I’m left starting at square 1 as I had another offer that I rejected for Big Wants Your Car.
DO NOT SELL TO THEM.
