Charged for refunding a payment.???
Anyone else charged a £40 admin fee for refunding a payment onto a customer's credit card. I have never come across any company (until now) that does this.

“By placing your order, you agree to such clinical assessment and accept that you shall have no cancellation rights for any order of a) consultation and prescription Services or b) any medicines (in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013).
No refunds will be issued in respect of orders placed for our consultation and prescription Services.”
Any refund provided is therefore offered as a gesture of goodwill and may be subject to an administration fee to cover the costs involved in processing the request.

KEEPING MY CARD DETAIL
Part 2. More than a month ago I wanted to purchase some medicine from an online Boots pharmacy. I had to create an online account before I made an order. That involved me giving Boots my home address, full name etc. I finally proceeded to checkout and AFTER I put all my card details in, including the security code!, I was asked to verify my bank card details with a screenshot picture of myself.
I did not proceed and found myself UNABLE TO DELETE my CARD DETAIL FROM my unused ACCOUNT.
It's been more than a month since I asked Boots to delete my card and all other details - Boots haven't done it. First "customer service" replied to my emails by asking for more information and now Boots is simply ignoring my emails or I have been put on 'send automatic reply' route. "Customer service" is "signing" their emails with just a first name - so you will never find the "employees" who've been fobbing you off. I will escalate the issue by lodging a formal complaint with the ICO and will be writhing more reviews. See you soon
