Bought a streamer on pre order

Bought a streamer on pre order, was told it would be two weeks from China and one week to post from Otic to my house. Communication was great and it arrived within the 3 weeks estimated.
I was worried reading other reviews but can honestly say they were great. Also saved a lot of money be not paying uk import tax, item was cheaper to buy from Otic.

Initial response very helpful but when I was told to sort connectivity issues myself by reading the manual.....great if the manual bore any resemblance to the device and the app! Bought a croc of !!!!

Nearly 2 months and still dont have the item

I ordered a fiio s15 streamer on pre order with an expected delivery 1st week in december, that came and went i have been constantly being fobbed off, so im now going through clearpay for a refunded, oh i notice they are on holiday from the 22/12/2025 till the 5/1/26 so having looked at the latest reviews they are are ruining peoples christmas but will be enjoying theres with everyones money.

Avoid at all costs

I ordered a DAP from these guys a month ago on a pre order, with an estimated delivery of the end of November.

That date has been and gone, and they're not responding to emails from me requesting an order cancellation as per CCR regs.

What's more, their T&C's contain multiple conditions which aren't legal (restocking fees on statutory returns, for example).

Fortunately I ordered on credit card so I'll be able to do a chargeback, because I suspect these guys are simply con artists.

Order from Peter Tyson, or someone with a proven customer service track record. Expect to lose your money if you buy here.

EDIT - despite OTIC's reply below, I still have not received a refund and there is still no sign of my order. Comms are completely non existent.

My worst ever online experience!

After 30 years of online shopping, nothing could have prepared me for the nightmare of this company. Every e-mail is ignored, there are no updates on the Item, all it says is on its way on the shop app, it's been like that for a week now, I have asked to cancel by e-mail, but they go unanswered. I have never experienced anything so frustrating. Even if they offered me the item for 1/10th of its price, I would still choose sticking sharpened forks into my eyeballs. If this is how they treat new customers, imagine an issue with your purchase?

This is no way to run a business!

I will be cancelling through my card company in the coming week.

It's just not worth the hassle, stay well clear!

*update* Card company now involved. THIS DOES SEEM LIKE A SCAM (when you read the t&c's). Scottish Trading standards are now involved!

16 Tage Liefertzeit ?

Bestellt habe ich am 16.11.2025 Die Lieferung benötigte mehr als zwei Wochen. Der Tonabnehmer kam in einer weichen Kartonschachtel ohne Füllmaterial. Die Schachtel der Goldrings war nur in einem Plastikbeutel und ist dadurch während es Transportes hin und her geflogen. Die Nadel war verbogen und der Tonabnehmer voller "Haare" und Staub. So als ob es ein Gebrauchtes Teil ist. Ich mache keine Retoure damit ich am Schluss gar nichts habe und mir das Geld (über 1000 EURO) nicht zurück bezahlt werden. Das war die erste und letze Bestellung. 14 Tage Lieferzeit von England die Schweiz. Aus China braucht eine Lieferung 4 Tage. Und tschüss. Natürlich haben sie mir geantwortet nachdem ich diese Bewertung gemacht habe. Nur 14 Tage Lieferzeit ändert sich nicht. Und die Verpackung auch nicht. Dies war meine letzte Bestellung bei Ihnen.

Very poor response

Very poor response. Sometimes over a week to reply or not even at all. Product took nearly 4 months to arrive and even then was messed about by DPD. Will never order again from this company!

I have seen the reply and still doesn’t explain the lack of communication and DPD messing me about and wasting a days leave. Appalling customer service despite whatever excuses given!!

Quality products and customer service.

I cannot praise the service given by Craig at OTIC.
Especially since I sent a message regarding a product via a well known auction site at around midnight, expecting to receive a response later in the morning, but got a response within minutes.
Craig advised to purchase direct, which was very beneficial.
Great experience all around.
As far as the product that I purchased, the Shanling M5 Ultra was an “Open Box” item.
Received in excellent condition.
It’s my first ever experience using a DAP, I have to say, the build and sound quality, is excellent.

absolutely very bad no customer service answers any emails I got orders from otic and I didn’t receive anything for 12 days no response and I didn’t get my refund back please no one order from this company please it’s absolutely wasting

A Puzzling Lack of Communication

Whilst I am willing to believe that this is a decent company, my experience of them so far has not been good. I ordered an item on 19th September and they confirmed the order straight away, advising that the product should arrive "in the next week or so". However, at this date the product has still not arrived, and, worse than that, they have failed to respond to any of my emails asking for information. Communication is not so much poor, but non-existent. I can tolerate a delay in receiving the product, but failure to respond to emails is unforgivable. My experience is therefore of very poor customer service, and based on that I cannot recommend them. I am in fact beginning to wonder if I will ever hear from them again, and I am now considering further options.

No Refund, No Response — Think Twice Before Ordering

I placed order #203637 on 15th September and requested cancellation on 17th September. The company confirmed the cancellation on 18th September.

Having still not received my refund I emailed OTIC on 30th September, 1st October, 2nd October, and 3rd October asking for the refund as this has not been reflected on my account. Initialy received a response on 30th September that it would be looked into but nothing since.
Over two weeks have passed since my first refund request, and I have still not had any refund, the only response I have had on the 30th September stating the matter would be looked into. Gave a deadline on 3rd October saying I'd escalate matters with my credit card company if no response by end of play on 6th October. Still nothing, and here we are.

I escalated the matter with my credit card provider, they credited my account within 15 minutes.

Looks like I'm not the first that has had this issue. Before using this company, I strongly suggest you make sure you are comfortable with potentially having to push for your refund and deal with delays.

Clearly dodgy

Ordered a shanling et3 from this company some time ago. Despite promises being made after numerous phone calls(none answered) and e mails (one answered) my order link from them has now stopped working. Have emailed them again but don’t have much hope. For gods sake do not deal with this shower!

Update: To be fair to Otic, having read my review ( and perhaps understandably being upset) they have reached out to enable cancelling and refunding of the order. Fair play to them.

They take your money but don't send the item.

Whatever you do, do not order from this company. I ordered my item 10 days ago, they will not answer the phone or respond to emails. I have no idea whether they have dispatched the item or not. Their communication is simply appalling and at the moment I have not received my order and I am £180 out of pocket. I am not normally one to complain but my whole experience has been diabolical.
